I've just got back with my ex...wonderful guy just wasn't right time first time round.
Anyway, his nephew is getting married in 2 weeks and he wants to take me to the wedding. It's in a big posh stately home and we'll stay over.

I do have a nice dress I wore to my cousin's wedding 2 years back but it'd be lovely to get something new.

I'll post as I spot things but any ideas welcome. I'm 5 ft 8 long in the body size 12.

Hmm - body shape? Norks/not, good arms? short or longer length? And vague budgetgrin?

JumpingDizzy Sat 26-Jul-08 13:47:41

curvy body shape bit of tum. good arms, 36D boobs, mid to long length as I'm 40 don't want to do mutton grin for dress up to £70 maybe bit more?

dedided on a fascionator for my hair smile I'll get one after I buy dress (of course grin)

Hmm - this is a bit of a bargain - also in black, but you can see the detail better in the raspberry version.

Principles have some lovely looking ones - I like the
chocolate shift dress
Painted rose
Pink ruffle dress (ruffles good for disguising tummy area)
Bit over budget, but lovely

Ooh that raspberry one is lovely and a fab price !

Get it ...get it ...get it !!!

JumpingDizzy Sat 26-Jul-08 16:14:05

Thanks JackieNo have ordered the raspberry one grin What a bargain!! I ordered a 14 to be on the safe side but it should be ok?

JumpingDizzy Sat 26-Jul-08 16:15:55

now I just need accessories.....oooooo I'm getting excited grin

JumpingDizzy Sat 26-Jul-08 16:20:34

JumpingDizzy Sat 26-Jul-08 16:24:35

and what colour shoes and bag? cream? Or maybe try to get raspberry shoes and cream bag? Oooo decisions, decisions wink

JumpingDizzy Sat 26-Jul-08 16:33:53

or maybe a shade of pink?

LoveMyGirls Sat 26-Jul-08 16:37:35

I went into jane norman today and they've got loads of lovely dresses in the sale down to £20 - £30 instead of £40 - £60

LoveMyGirls Sat 26-Jul-08 16:38:08

oh I'm too late sorry should read whole threads lol

JumpingDizzy Sat 26-Jul-08 16:38:53

thanks lovemygirls. I've ordered the raspberry one from ghost. Just thinking about accessories now. I'd prefer more time but it's quite exciting.

JumpingDizzy Sat 26-Jul-08 16:48:17

what do you think of these sandals?

JackieNo Sat 26-Jul-08 16:49:46

I like those. Tbh, the dress may be a difficult colour to match - but going a bit darker, as I suspect those ones are, should work. I have no idea what Ghost sizing is like, so hope it's all OKgrin.

JumpingDizzy Sat 26-Jul-08 18:57:47

Yes JackieNo I was thinking that, going darker will be a better idea.
I'm thinking beads necklace now? maybe dark pink too? Or I was thinking of silver bag and silver beads or necklace?

JackieNo Sat 26-Jul-08 18:58:59

Silver could be good. Too much pink might be a bit overwhelming.

JumpingDizzy Sat 26-Jul-08 19:11:28

Yes I think so too smile Might look a bit 80's grin

MABS Sat 26-Jul-08 20:33:39

ghost sizes are quite accurate, certainly not small.

JumpingDizzy Sun 27-Jul-08 13:08:29

thanks MABS. Hope it isn't too big then although I am 12/14 in most dresses and I want to be able to eat plenty grin

Just over 2 hours for the sandals so hope I win them?
