Any ideas for a handbag - not designer, not high street, something in between...

I am looking for a present for myself

Who does mid-range handbags - not designer and not high street, around the £200-£300 mark? I want a brown leather shoulder bag that looks like it cost £1,000 but, obviously, didn't. Have no idea, it's been ages since I've bought anything other than practical bloody canvas totes that can house nappies, wipes, juice, small cars, a book about fish, squashed raisins that stick onto my purse, single socks, chocolate wrappers.. sad

Coccinelle are very nice- lovely gorgeous leather, many designs and sizes. Around £150 depending on size.

I have a gorgeous brown leather one that I bought in spring, and yes, it looks expensive, but wasn't so expensive that you're scared to use it everyday.

yeah, I've got to say - that one is pretty vile.

but this one is nice in golden honey or whiskey.

It's been compared to a Birkin, so maybe ticks your "looks like it cost £1000" box...?
