Style and beauty

Do nice watches for DH come under style and beauty then?

It's our 10th wedding anniversary coming up and I want to get him a nice watch as a present. I am a bit skint but have a tax rebate on it's way so I don't mind spending a bit. Absolute top whack £500 but a bit less would be nice.

Any ideas? He will want to be able to wear it to work I think, so not too outrageous or trendy.

TIA

have a google for U-Boat watches - i bought my DH one a few xmas's ago and he loves it. they are quite big, but DH is a 20st rugby player, so the bigger the better....

Ooh they're nice neeerly3, thanks, might investigate. DH is definitely not a 20st rugby player though...

When dh was eyeing up watches for his 40th, he was taken with Breitling and Tag Heuer.

That's a good idea CD.

Where is a good place to look for decent second hand watches, do you (or anyone else) know? Is Ebay the right place for something like that? I'm always a bit wary of it, no idea why really.

Hi Flowery, (I was mojomumy, but have ended that..)

I would recommend having a look at watches.co.uk . I bought DH his rolex from there - might help you £'s go further

Hi fantastic!

I've been googling and have found that site, it's looking good! Lots of pre-owned ones on it within my price range.

I have stretched and strained my budget and bought him a lovely pre-worn Tag Heuer from watches.co.uk. Hoorah! Am v pleased, as long as it turns up in the mint condition it's apparently in!

Thanks ladies
