What shoes (and how many pairs) do your DC's have?

Cos I never know what to get my DDs.

They are always asking what shoes can I wear with this? And they often have nothing that suits.

So They are 7 - and have trainers and "jelly's" - they kind of lack a nice pair of shoes/sandals to wear with skirts etc.
DD3 is 2 hand has canvas doodles.

um, i'm abit of a shoeaholic for myself and the children so ds1 and 2 have a pair of school shoes, at least one pair fo trainers, a pair of converse, and crocs. ds1 (11) also has a pair of nike air rifts and ds2 (6) ahs a pair of clarks doodles.

and dd (2) i daren;t even list how many pairs of shoes she has. dd is shoe mad herself and alwasy looks at them in the shops and says pretty shoes mummy, me like. lol.

at least i can justify the boys as they usualy wear theires until they wear out rather than grow out as ds1 feet have been a size 2 for about 18 months now and ds2 have been a size 13 for about a year.

perosnally i would buy your dd's at least one pair of nice sandlas, they donl;t need to be expensive. my fave ones for dd were from next and were £7. bargain. oh and sales everywhere now you should be able to get a bargain.

My DD is nearly 3, she has seven pairs of shoes
In fairness, its my mothers fault. She took DD to get her feet measured when I was ill in hospital, got her a pair from Clarks and then went a little overboard with Ebay!

Probllem is as I have DTs, shoe buying quickly gets very very expensive when I have to double everything.

They do need something else though. I think we are going to get them some "corcs".

Should I then get nice sandalls or canvas shoes?

dd1 - school shoes, trainers, suede boots, pretend crocs, wellies, ballet shoes.
dd2 - doodles, trainers, pretend crocs, wellies, ballet shoes.

We have a wedding on sat so will buy them both a pair of white sandals before then.

DS(2) has two pairs of sandals, a pair of wellies, and some crocs.

I'd get the girls a pair of nice sandals each - the summer sales seem to be starting soon so its a good opportunity

DS is 7 and has school shoes, trainers, sandals and wellies

DD is 4 and has shoes and wellies

My philosophy so far has been - less choice equals put on what you have

DD1 has pair of Lelli Kellys, Crocs, Sketchers Cali, black school shoes, white school shoes, white school sandals, gold sandals, doodles, Clarks trainers, three pairs of wellies...

She wears the Sketchers Cali AND THAT IS IT! What a fecking waste of money. Now the velcro straps are wearing away and she is having a heart attack.

DS is 5 and has:

2 pairs of wellies (one at parents)
3 pairs of trainers
1 pair of doodles
1 pair sandles
1 pair flipflops

pgwithnumber3 - why oh why has your dd got 13 pairs of shoes

TBH I think anything more than school shoes, trainers, sandals and wellies is excessive for a kid whose feet are still growing

Both dd (22 months) and ds (5) have:

doodles
sandalls (dd from clarks, ds from next)
cheap crocs
wellies
slippers (dds were hand ons and ds v cheap in sale...neither really wear them)

dd also has hand-on canvas boots that look great but she's not actually worn much and ds also has trainers

I didn't even realise she did have until I counted them up upon reading this thread! Am deeply ashamed.

I admit Yurt, I have a problem. Did get the Crocs given to me, the Clarks trainers were half price in the sale, school shoes are vital and she needed summer ones. Mum bought the Sketchers and the 3 pairs of wellies as she needed a pair for school, pair for camping and pair for home. Sandals to go with nice dresses. Dear me, I am trying too hard to explain myself aren't I?!

DontNeedAnything, if she wasn't such a shoe wrecker (wears them once and the front is hanging off) they would be boxed up with your name and address in big bold letters! She is so heavy on her feet it is untrue. Her wellies from school actually have no sole left on them. They were only 2 months old. She must be the only child who can do a cartwheel with a flip at the end with 10lb of welly on each foot.

Dd1 is 4, she has: one pair of Clarks sandals, one pair of doodle-type plimsolls from Tesco, one pair of fakey Croccy things from Debenhams (my mum is guilty of those), 1 pair of ballet shoes, 1 pair of wellies, 1 pair of glitzy party shoes she never wears.

Dd2 is (just) 3, she has: one pair of Clarks sandals, one pair of T-bar soft shoes from Tesco, 1 pair of jellies, one pair of wellies.

Not looking forward to the buying of non-frivolous shoes that school entails .

DD (4) - school shoes, school sandals, good sandals, doodles 1 pair, wellies 1 pair.
She didn't grow for ages and has now gone up a size - I'll get her school boots for winter.
