For me it's Monsoon, Next and Per Una (not a shop I know but I hate the range)

monsoon has some nice plainish things tucked away amongst the sequins and frumpy skirts i think.....

Oh yes Next. And Marks and Spencers style is awful. Reiss manage to make trendy clothes look spectacularly square.

don't like Next,Per Una but don't mind Monsoon

I live in a small market town where the only clothes shop is Dorothy Perkins. I can't stand the lurid colours and strange flouncy bits.

agree
I never see anything I like in Monsoon, per una, next, dotty p, east or fatface

agree about Fat Face a lot of the time -but every so often there is something I like (at the moment there are some trousers that I covet)

agree with per una and dorothy perkins.

For me also Wallis is always may too mature.

Have bought some nice silk kimono tops from monsoon, but agree sometimes everything looks very frumpy.

I find Warehouse shops incredibly dark.See nice dresses on the website, but in RL they look awful in the shop.Well, they would if I could see them!

Well if we can have catalogues then Boden with that creepy Johnny bloke.

Loads - Per Una stuff is gruesome (I like M&S Limited Collection though); River Island - diamante-hell; Jane Norman and Morgan - pink and foul; Dorothy Perkins - I don't think their range ever changes, it all seems to be cheap looking t-shirts and hoodies. Wallis is frumpy and everything (even the Petite stuff) is massive; Next - the colours are so horrible, lots of things that seemed to have been inspired by vomit last time I looked.

I don't get on with TKMaxx. I always feel defeated and don't know where on earth to start in there.

Wllis jewellery quite good, but clothes seem frumpy when seen in the shop, yet can be ok in magazines.
New Look is the same, you see ok pieces in magazines, but the shop has harsh lighting, cheap fittings and the clothes seem all squashed together.

MaryAnnSingleton · 13/07/2008 20:54

oh yes, TK Maxx does my head in - I can't cope with it

In fact, this thread is making me realise how few shops I actually DO like.

Agree re TK Maxx.I cannot be arsed to rummage.
Next is always the same, and everyone wears it.
Dorothy Perkins has polyester trousers and lurid t shirts.
Per Una def case of an over egged pudding, but have found Autograph good for trousers.

Jigsaw & Kew - all drab colours, laid out so you can't find anything
