Who buys those T-Shirts that are available EVERYWHERE that are so short they sit on the waistband of your jeans?

Do you?
I dont. I want LENGTH.
I often walk through shops thinking OMG who is buying these?
So..is it you?

Ladytophamhatt Sat 12-Jul-08 21:55:33

nope, not me

RipMacWinkle Sat 12-Jul-08 21:56:45

what height are you?

could it be short arses like myself?

charliecat Sat 12-Jul-08 21:57:35

5ft 6, but with norks I guess that would take up at least 10cm of the material...

IllegallyBrunette Sat 12-Jul-08 21:57:36

I am only 5'2 and even I find some t'shirts too short.

IllegallyBrunette Sat 12-Jul-08 21:57:56

Oh I have generous norks too, perhaps that is the problem.

expatinscotland Sat 12-Jul-08 21:58:25

no, not me.

i fucking HATE those things.

BibiThree Sat 12-Jul-08 21:58:36

I am 5ft1, short bodied and STILL find many tops too short, vests, t-shirts and shirts. I hate having the top of my trousers and pot belly on show.

But I would eel v stupid buying clothes in the "Tall" section of shops as I clearly am not smile

BibiThree Sat 12-Jul-08 21:59:16

Large norkage here too

divastrop Sat 12-Jul-08 21:59:26

in an ideal world it would only be 18-24 year olds with toned tummies who are buying them, but in reality i have seen them wandering around with saggy white tummy flesh hanging out the bottom(and possibly a bra-less nipple or 2).

BibiThree Sat 12-Jul-08 21:59:45

But surely norkage doesn't affect the back of the top, which is still short...?!

Ladytophamhatt Sat 12-Jul-08 22:00:45

i'm 5'3 and a bit, with tiny norks and they are still short on me.

charliecat Sat 12-Jul-08 22:02:13

Can I just say that Primark sell longer ones, and sainsburys have a few in right now that are longer, but not as long as Primark. Anyone else direct me somewhere?

Simply Sat 12-Jul-08 22:02:28

I used to have a toned tummy. No longer, though! No, I don't buy them and those that I have that are too short, I wear with a cardigan. Strewth, that makes me sound old! Does anyone know of stockists of sensibly lengthed (?) t-shirts?

Ledodgy Sat 12-Jul-08 22:03:13

Me when I was 21 and had washboard stomach. [sigh]

RipMacWinkle Sat 12-Jul-08 22:03:18

Ah it was just a thought.

I'm 5 feet with minimal norkage. Prob still too short on me too... I'm still trying to hide "post-baby" belly. Ha ha. He's 20 months.

RipMacWinkle Sat 12-Jul-08 22:04:22

I've bought a couple of Kettlewell colours recently. NIce bright colours, wash well but one is definitely too long for me. the other is borderline.

My T-shirts all do that, and it's very annoying. I do have short legs (and so presumably a long body) for my height, though.

Kew do some tops that are described as "long" and are just about right for me.

MadBadandDangeroustoKnow Sat 12-Jul-08 22:42:53

I don't buy those t-shirts either. Have awful collapsed stomach muscles and short t-shirt/low-slung trouser combo is just too gruesome to contemplate!

widgypog Sun 13-Jul-08 12:15:48

I am 5ft 1 and I always buy the tall range t- shirts cause they are all too bloody short!!!!!!!

girlnextdoor Sun 13-Jul-08 12:22:57

Kew have some longer T shirts available.
