Where can I get birkenstocks for DS ???

Have trawled the websites, but to no avail.

He is size 11, but has very wide feet AND a high instep (i think hmm)

so needs to be the kind that has all the straps adjustable. Must have the strap arount the back too so he can run in them.

also would like black or dark grey (for starting school in sept). do they do those colours ? thought I saw grey on ebay, but wrong size, now I can only find blue or brown.

Actually, any sandal in this style would do, doesn't have to be birkenstock, but must be of good quality (not being snobby, just sick of buying cheap stuff that falls apart or fits badly).

c'mon ladies pleeeeease !!

john lewis were selling birkies or similar but seeing as it is mid summer they are probably sold out and replaced with furry boots.

bloody expensive.

I have tried their site. If you click on the kids link then they don't show that they have black (I am prob being dim and not looking in the right place tho...)

How did you find black ?

has anyone bought kids birkenstocks for themselves? am hankering after a different colour and noticed the silver rios on amazon go up to a size 40 smile

just to let you know - and thank warmfuzzy for the idea - I got the kids birkies - silver, size 40 (!) from amazon, delivered in 1 day, absolutely delighted with them smile
