Bright tights anyone?

Just seen them on Mary Queen Of Shops.

I have a black dress and would love some pink tights, bright pink!

Yey or ney?

My mums mate did the black dress and purple tights thing a few weeks ago and looked amazing!

What do you think?

Mine is a light-knit V-neck dress, just above knee in black.

I think you'd have to be super groomed or look emo/goth.

So decent shoes with heel. I'm thinking it is a look best worn by Kirstie Allsopp.

Yes. Have loads, wear them all the time.

llareggub - any self-respecting emo or goth would not be seen dead in them!

What about those stripy tighted people, then? The ones with big boots? Are they not goth/emo types?

Wore bright tights all last winter and the one before that, are they not 'out' now? Hope not, would love to re-visit them this winter. (Bear in mind, Queen of shops was filmed last winter )

yeah but suwoo, being cool and hip isn't always about being a slave to fashion

hear hear daftpunk, if the pages of Grazia are anything to go by.

Fashion is very provincial, imo

Gok uses bright tights quite a lot doesn't he? I think it would look cool. What shoes do you have to wear with them?

I follow the rule, madbad, that all extremities should endeavour to distract from the anomalies of the trunk area.
So, moving from north, to south:

ginger quiff
vast timmy mallet spectacles (electric blue)
red lipstick
Bin Laden beard
Thai Temple-dancer's fingernails
bright, bright tights
spats

Can look fun & good if done with confidence, esp in autumn/winter. With simple grey, brown or black jumper dress, yum.

I like the American Apparel ones. They're almost like dancer leotards & give me Fame vibes .

Yes I had a purple pair last winter. They probably will be in again this autumn/winter too. I wouldn't wear them in the summer. I prefer the deathly pallor of my real legs.

Primark £1-3 a pair
