I have seen this jacket on eBay, it’s sort of Chanel with a twist but not sure if it’s too lurid in colour. Interested in all views! It’s a good price and I do wear these cropped structured jackets both for casual and work wear.

I wouldn’t wear it but I do really like it. Go for it!

Classica Thu 14-Oct-21 17:35:07

I quite like it. Doesn't look overly garish on my screen. Is it Zara?

PeachMelba78 Thu 14-Oct-21 19:03:08

@Classica it’s Juicy Couture. I was worried it looked a bit try hard!

@IvorCutler thanks! Just want to make sure I will wear it too!

Really like it, go for it!

I love it. More so than the normal plain cream of the Chanel.

CambsAlways Thu 14-Oct-21 19:26:48

Yes I like it, I’d wear it! Go for it

PeachMelba78 Thu 14-Oct-21 19:35:24

Gosh I’m overwhelmed at everyone saying yes - I thought it was a bit marmite but just goes to show!

Definitely wear it with smart dark denim jeans and a white top.

Cotswoldmama Thu 14-Oct-21 19:46:51

It's not my taste but I don't think it's horrible. It's quite formal looking but I can equally see a posh older lady wearing it whilst walking her dog!

IdblowJonSnow Thu 14-Oct-21 19:47:52

I like it too.
Those boxy jackets do nothing for me personally but it's fab.

We should all try our hardest to make ourselves feel great by wearing clothes we love! smile

Did you buy it OP? Scrolling after being inspired by your post resukted in my buying this.

Kanaloa Sat 16-Oct-21 01:37:29

It’s nice. I get what you mean about it being a bit ‘lurid’ though, I think it would be nice worn with more plain clothes so it is the standout piece of the outfit.

PeachMelba78 Sat 16-Oct-21 08:46:50

@1frenchfoodie it ends on Sunday, I am going to bid!
@Kanaloa I don’t often wear pink and blue together, I rarely wear pink at all other than a pale nude/blush shade so it’s getting my head round it. Overall outfit would be very plain, I wear simple shapes with a bit of an interesting fold, of a pattern in a classic shape.
I have fairly ‘weak’ shoulders which benefit from boxy jackets.

@1frenchfoodie your new jacket looks lovely!

It's very Mary Berry. Wear it with jeans which have a crease ironed in and blonde hair crash helmet stylee

HouseOfFire Sat 16-Oct-21 08:53:23

Hmmmm, nope from me.

There's too much, ... striping ? Piping? Edging, at the shoulders I mean.

What will you wear with?
How tall are you?

IAmTheLovechildOfYvesAndIsabel Sat 16-Oct-21 08:59:38

That (to me) is a sweet dream of a jacket and I am sending you tons of quick bidding power in the hope you win the auction later!
Seriously, I have a few similar jackets and 3 came from eBay so they do seem to pop up quite often. The other 2 I found in a charity shop!
I would love a real Chanel but the if it never happens I love the "tribute" 😁 ones I have collected all ready.
You can dress them up or down but I love mine with jeans.
Good luck OP!!!

1frenchfoodie Sat 16-Oct-21 09:06:54

Good luck in the bidding. Pic of you styling it after you win?

PeachMelba78 Sat 16-Oct-21 09:23:53

@HouseOfFire I’m short, 5.2 (almost!). I would wear it in a very simple way.

@BuckyBarnesArm you could just say you don’t like it, I can cope!

@1frenchfoodie I will do!

@peachmelba78 Well, did you get it???? 😄

Fudgemonkeys Mon 18-Oct-21 19:52:12

I like it but it's quite aging, reminds me of Mary Berry. Sorry OP

Bertiebiscuit Mon 18-Oct-21 21:09:18

Really nothing like chanel - I think it looks cheap to be brutally honest, a nasty knock off, I wouldn't
