I’ve just come on to say….sale

Just ordered the linen cotton herringbone jacket in caviar. Does anyone have it? Is it black black or more of a grey? I have been eyeing it up for a while but it was way too much at full price. Nothing else that takes my fancy, though annoyingly the orange Edith dress that I bought recently is now half price. I would highly recommend that one if anyone is thinking about it, it’s so striking.

Nothing in my basket is reduced at the moment
Sale until Monday apparently

Is there anything.in the sale worth buying? Seems very limited

Report

Not tempted by anything in the sale - that’s good for my purse 😎

@ScottishMouse, is the Edith true to size? Very tempted by the orange.

I have ordered the navy pintuck blouse and the poplin green jumpsuit which looked so good on the Instagram styling video. For anyone ordering the pintuck top, I tried it on in store ages ago and it comes up big. The website is recommending a 12 for me but I tried the 12 on and it was too big but the 10 fitted. I am busty too but could still size down.

Have ordered the black/blue poplin dress, linen check tank and the red and black check skirt

@neveradullmoment99, was tempted by that poplin dress, wish I had ordered that now instead of the jumpsuit as looking back at the picture on the model, it is cut low under the arm and I will need to be wearing a bra with it...

I have the jumpsuit. I haven't actually got round to wearing it. Its fine with a wee tee under it and I don't think it shows bra if I remember right.
I love the green poplin dress but I was after something black. Intend to wear a long sleeved tee under it for winter.

There are no reviews of the poplin dress. I ordered the 12. Hoping it fits.

@ToastCosILoveIt, I would say size up if you have a bust. It fits me like many of the Toast shirt dresses, that is, a little neater across the bust than others Toast dresses. I am a size 10 usually in Toast tops and dresses, but have the Edith (and the chalkboard shirt dress from last summer) in a 12. Hope that helps.

Thanks @ScottishMouse, sounds like a 12 for me but am going to hold off as I am spending too much at the moment.

I’ve ordered the green jumpsuit, I tried it on in store and I couldn’t get the buttons on the 8 to close over my boobs, so fingers crossed for the 10.

nothing there I wanted - except possibly the green jacket which I think someone on here had and it looked so lovely - but it's still quite expensive!

Yay!! Pihu skirt is in sale !! Have loved that forever.. so have ordered but sized up.. I know Toast waistbands of old .
Also got the orange linen vest .
I do wish that they'd sell PJ tops and bottoms separately though.. love the Areca PJ bottoms , would never wear the top

You can move the buttons if its neat. I did. I bought the 12. I found it still snug but then I am trying to lose lockdown weight.

I haven’t posted on this thread since the very beginning so I hope you don’t mind me joining in. I’ve just ordered the cotton poplin pinafore wrap dress. I’ve had my eye on it since it first appeared but it’s had no reviews and the pictures aren’t clear - does it have a double layer or is it layered with another dress in the picture? Without ordering I’ll never know. I have loved Toast for many years but without good photos or the brilliant reviews it’s impossible to shop online. I feel quite exasperated by them.

Oh gawd just got out the credit card and had a sale induced splurge, the raglan cardigan, the canvas 'jumpsuit' that really look like Dungarees and the non sale Micro Gingham jumpsuit that have admired on ToastcosIloveit and coveted ever since 😬
