Honest opinion. Think I like this t- shirt but not sure if it suits me.

Does it clash horribly with the leopard skirt.. I mean it does but is it a complete no no?

Please be kind. Put on a lot of weight recently and feeling a bit shit about myself.

I love it OP, really suits you

JofraArchersFastestBall Fri 18-Jun-21 17:21:46

Love the shirt. It looks great with the jeans. I'm less convinced with the skirt - but both items look good on you individually!

MistyFrequencies Fri 18-Jun-21 17:21:49

I love it with the jeans. Hate it with the skirt.

Winederlust Fri 18-Jun-21 17:22:46

I like it, but no I don't think it really goes with the skirt (and I say that as someone who likes a pattern/style clash!).
Other than that it suits you and seems like it would be fairly versatile smile

Thanks all.

I seem to have lost my way a bit clothes wise recently!

It's good with the jeans. You need something more fitted with the skirt.

Meredusoleil Fri 18-Jun-21 17:24:28

Nice with the jeans. Not nice with the skirt.

RodiganReed Fri 18-Jun-21 17:24:42

I'm another one who loves a bold clash, but it doesn't work with that skirt. Looks fab with the jeans though!

MrsBunHat Fri 18-Jun-21 17:24:58

I think it's partly the bagginess that makes it not work so well with the skirt – the clashing I think looks OK. It looks fab with the jeans! Where's it from?

Salanda Fri 18-Jun-21 17:25:18

Looks fine with the jeans but I agree I’m not sure about it with the skirt. You do have a lovely figure though! I think the skirt would look great with a slimmer top as it has a fair bit of volume.

bettyfloormop Fri 18-Jun-21 17:25:18

@cookiecreampie hate my stomach hence baggyness!

Ive gone up 2 clothes sizes so sadly most of my clothes don't fit me anymore. Trying to still wear old stuff with some new things confused

@MrsBunHat it's from Hush.

Liked it for the retro- print!

Also ordered a pleated skirt which looks fucking terrible on me!

I think it’s too baggy to go with the skirt but looks fab with jeans-I like it. Where’s it from?

Howshouldibehave Fri 18-Jun-21 17:28:06

Sorry/cross posted there! What would you say the sizing was like?

HeronLanyon Fri 18-Jun-21 17:28:42

I like it. Not with the skirt - I agree with op think it’s too loose fitted for the skirt.
I’d wear that t shirt with jeans, black trousers, white jeans (yes!).
Looks good on you.

bettyfloormop Fri 18-Jun-21 17:28:46

Thanks everyone.. it's a no with the skirt but will keep it for jeans.

Thanks for being nice too.. bit fragile at the moment.

Definitely too baggy for skirt.
Love it with the jeans

Cocolapew Fri 18-Jun-21 17:30:29

You look great in the jeans photo, v cool grin

belimoo Fri 18-Jun-21 17:31:15

You look fabulous op, absolutely no reason to feel shit about yourself.

The t-shirt isn't my style so I'm not a big fan of it but still think you look great. I love your jeans, they really suit you.

NotExactlyHappyToHelp Fri 18-Jun-21 17:31:58

Love it! More so with the jeans.

You look like you’ve a lovely figure. Show it off.

bettyfloormop Fri 18-Jun-21 17:35:54

It sounds so trite but My body shape has completely changed.

Lockdown, laziness and too much booze has taken its toll.

Also pushing 50 and struggling with my MH. I think I am accepting of myself but its really frustrating that none of my favourite clothes fit me anymore.

Will kick myself up the arse soon and start running again.

Thanks again.

Nice t shirt but agree it goes with the jeans but not the skirt.

RedElephants Fri 18-Jun-21 18:17:39

Just to say op,
I wish I was as slim as you..

LunaNorth Fri 18-Jun-21 18:23:19

Love it with the jeans, OP.

I’m staring down the barrel of 50 too. It’s bloody hard. But you look fantastic!
