I think you should book a personal shopping slot at a big department store (if this is still possible). Tell them in advance what you are looking for and they will have a selection of dresses for you to try on.

Any of these appeal?

Sadly no big department store near me they have all closed down I’d have to travel to London for the day and that’s where I’m going for my anniversary weekend

You're only 27, why are you asking the middle aged?
Get on Instagram, Pinterest, ask your mates??

thisplaceisweird Wed 16-Jun-21 08:03:36

Look at Never fully dressed and pretty lavish

Who says we are middle aged?

Antiqueanniesmagiclanternshow Wed 16-Jun-21 08:08:34

Did you like any of the ones i posted?

thisplaceisweird Wed 16-Jun-21 08:09:26

The recommendations so far are Coast, Karen Millen and Phase 8 hmm

BernadetteRostankowskiWolowitz Wed 16-Jun-21 08:13:31

So? How is that the OPs fault? Maybe if posters ready the brief they would suggest more appropriate dresses.

27. Great legs. A bit sexy.

My Coast recommendation seems to have ticked the boxes - dont write off a store just because it is sometimes used by middle aged women.

I would shop on the OUTNET

Have a look on Silk Fred

Agree with SilkFred. It's hard to recommend without knowing your style, what about any of these?

They're all quite different, are any of them close to what you'd imagined? I also quite like Chi Chi London, e.g
