I've done 4 months on dermatica, but I don't think it's worth the £25 plus £3 p&p per month. I think im a bit underwhelmed. Not feeling I want to pay similar for skin and me,.

Got the usual bit of wrinkles, would, like a bit of extra brightness. My skins not awful, but would like to look fresh.

Any recommendations would be much appreciated.

How is it costing you that much? Mine is £20 every 2 months

Is it worth it for the difference in your skin Shrew? That's the bit I was struggling with.

I use Mario Badescu and I love it

What formula do you have? Tretinoin can take up to a year to see the full proper results. 4 months isn't long enough

Ian - £20 for 2 months!!! How have you got that!

Mine is monthly sent, £25 then p&p. Did you get yours on an offer?

Definitely. My skin looks great (if I do say so myself). Plus it’s stopped me buying lots of other things and steps - it really pares back the routine. I was using other retinols before but kept flaking. Have had zero issues with this, now 6 months in. I’m happy!

Dermatica. Mine is £22.89 per month, so I would imagine it's £20plus p&p.

I'm finding a tube lasts me for 2 months though, so it's actually cheaper than what I was using before (Sunday Rileys Luna oil, and the ordinary azaelic acid and the ordinarys niacinamide ) all of which lasted me about 2 months per bottle.

I also use a basic moisturiser (nivea) and a sunscreen (missha)

The results are good so far, I'm 4 months in and I've only had minor flaking.

4% hydroquinone and 0.025 tret here. I'm moving up to 0.05 next month.

Do you all leave your face after washing and drying for the recommended 30 minutes before application? I have to admit I don't, not sure if I need to change that then??

I use dermatica too. Mine is also 0.05 Tret with naicinamide. Are you using the full tube every month? Mine lasts me a couple of months so I don't get one every month.

No, straight on.

Applying to wet skin apparently makes it absorb more, leaving you more prone to a reaction.

No I changed the frequency. I use one pump, 4 times a week

Thanks everyone, I think I'll persevere, and have a look at getting my prescription a bit less often..
