Just watching Ten Years Younger on ch5 and it reminded me of a post on here. I’m sure it was this show that the OPs friend was going on and she was planning an outfit for her appearance in the show. I can’t find the thread. Is this the right show? If the OP is reading this have we seen you yet??

I'm not convinced by the stylist. She seems to put the ladies in some very dated outfits and high heels no one could actually walk in.

TableNiner I agree. I prefer the old version of this programme with the old presenter (Nicky something?). She used to pick a selection of outfits and actually spent time styling different ones and showing which styles suited their body shapes better. This version seems too rushed and is all about the stylist.

My friend’s mum went on this and had LOADS of surgery including veneers and stuff

Friend said they filmed the surprise / reveal about 10 times and she had to look shocked each time

@WetWednesday has your friend been on yet?

This weeks was the first episode I’ve seen, I might try and watch the older ones online if they’re available. I do think they must tell them to wear their most drab clothes for the before bit. The lady this week was in joggers and trainers, stuff you wouldn’t wear if you knew you were going to be on tv!

Hey I couldn't find the thread either!! Well done Milton Silver. Don't think the search works properly on the app.

Anyway .... they've apparently put the last lot of filming into 2 seasons, so my friend will be on next season, I think in the summer.

To be honest when I look at the pictures of me at the time, it can't come late enough!!! :)

Lockdown hair, Jeremy Kyle lockdown teeth.

My friend ... well I won't spoil it for you, but it wasn't the reveal we were expecting!!

Just looked at this clip from an old series and am horrified and slightly in hysterics about what they did to this poor woman!

She looks like she was made over in the early 00s and l guessing she was. That hair style was very popular due to VB l think. Or was it Katy Hill? I had something similar at the time.

Oh yeah it's a looks that screams early 00's but bloody hell it's awful. I wonder if I'd have nodded approvingly at the time though! Her jeans and cardi were so much better.

I’d forgotten about appliquéd jeans but am now having horrible flashbacks...

Every lesbian in London (and probably quite a lot of straight women too) had that haircut in the early 00s

They actually added extensions to her hair so they could give her that 'close encounter with a hedge strimmer' look. What in the name of god was going on in the 00s! I suspect it's going to be regarded as one of our less stylish decades

The New Zealand version was the funniest thing ever. The clothes were just bizarre.

Oh my sweet jesus, that clip! She actually looked nice to me before with her jeans and cardi. The clothes are just awful. I don't remember fashion being that bad, but actually, I did wear some absolute horrors in the nineties / early noughties. The age of peak fast fashion iirc.

This woman was also in '10 Years Younger 1 Year On'. She looked loads nicer once she styled herself (and grown her hair).

I really dislike her and what they did to that poor woman this week was just disgraceful!

Totally unrealistic haircut requiring high maintenance and the pink was not great. But that chunky necklace was dreadful.

Why she feels the need to truss women up I'll never know. You can look just as good with comfortable but well made and fitted clothes.
