...At Hush
I told myself I’ll send some back but I suspect I won’t. Not sure why I am sharing, maybe because I’m feeling a bit lavish or maybe because I did it within 20 minutes of having a little spat with the husband.
The weird thing is, I’m not always convinced I even like Hush....
So this was a fun read for you all... Grin

Be careful how you wash it!

What did you buy?

I enjoyed your post. Nothing like a random splurge, post spat.

Hope you like the haul and sort it out with your DH Grin

Well its done now, so when it comes decide what you are going to keep, or not keep, and if you want to keep it all, do so!

Show us what you’ve got, then report back.

I want to go clothes shopping next week but I’ve put on so much weight over the last year that I can’t really bring myself to contemplate it.

Did you buy any of their Harem trousers? I'm tempted by them but read mixed reviews on here....

Oh I know all about the laundry perils which is part of my love hate relationship. My husband does most laundry but I hide my hush stuff from him and use a hand wash cycle.

I got:
Two jersey V neck vests, one in pink and one in a green animal print;
The sleeveless cropped jersey jumpsuit in khaki;
Lara jersey maxi dress again in a green animal print; and
The utility play suit which is the one I’m least certain about because I’ve never worn a play suit and my legs aren’t great.

I bought a Mulberry scarf on eBay last night. Impulse buy using money that really should have been spent on planting for the garden, but that’s okay...I wanted the scarf for spring and it’s my one splurge this month amongst a sea of sensible decisions.

Oh I thought you’d said you were trying Hush for the first time...feel free to disregard my telling you how to wash it Grin

I hope you love everything and keep it all!

@floppybit I already have the harem trousers from a couple of years ago so the new ones may be slightly different. They are ok. Prefer my Amie joggers though.

@TreesAndStuff DH and I will be fine, he’s smart and kind and funny but has a total lack of common sense and today I reached my limit. Grin

I bought quite a few Hush t shirts last year and they have survived my washing machine. They look a little rumpled and may have shrunk slightly but they still look decent. I also have a lovely Hush skirt that I bought at the same time which looks good, but I haven't washed it yet as I have only worn it twice. I agree about using the hand wash cycle in the washing machine, as Hush items have a knack of shrinking or coming out of the machine extremely crumpled.

Awaiting the arrival of the pink camo stretch shorts, pale camo tee (NOT to be worn together obvs) & a black halter neck vest top....

I have sent back a load of Zara stuff recently, poor sizing, crap fit. Hoping this delivery doesn’t disappoint too... 🙏

I just spent 300 mostly in la redoute in a bereavement haze. (My ddad, who is not prince philip).

I actually feel a bit better for the first time this week.... it was worth it so far.

I bought a yellow dress. Yellow was his fav colour.

I love a random splurge! I’m keen on the ‘I’ve had two glasses of wine and am in a great mood’ splurge. Also love Hush and your selection sounds good.

Whatever you decide, I am sorry for your loss. I'm sure your dad will like the dress. I have a silly white hat which dad used to love. I will never get rid of it!

I really like the utility play suit and the Joanie play suit. I bought a play suit from them a couple of years ago and it is so comfy.

My recent hush purchases have been black coated jeans and two tops.

I also keep looking at the Kensington dress.....

@Ikeameatballs I've got my eye on
the Joanie playsuit too. I'm 5'11 so very tall and worried it might cut me up the middle as they don't do a tall version. The boden ones have a tall option which is longer in the body. Might just order and give it a go. Just tired of having to send stuff back at the moment, too many trips to the post office!

Maybe you could wear a dark jacket, cardigan or coat over the yellow dress?

I wore a red and black hat to my Mum's funeral. She really liked red. No one said anything.
