SPF 50 - but with no pale cast?

I've got very olive skin which reacts badly to the sun and can lead to my skin becoming patchy if I'm not careful with SFP.

I've been using a cheap boots one for years and years, but it leaves a white cast

Ideally I'm looking for one which will moisturise and be a good base for foundation.

Anyone got any recommendations?
Must be SPF 50.

The chemical sunblocks don’t go white on skin but they are bleaching sea coral which damages them.

I put powder over sunblock.

Warning, this is expensive £36 for 30ml, but it's my favourite ever facial sunscreen. Disclaimer - I am super pale so cannot confirm lack of white cast personally, but it was recommended by a black Aesthetician Dija Ayodele as being white cast free.

Either Nivea matte sunscreen which is really good, or a Korean one from YESSTYLE. I have one by Jigott and one by Purito, both of which I love.

All affordable. I can’t bring myself to buy an expensive one.

Just a warning. A few Korean and Japanese sunscreens have been found to have a far lower SPF than advertised in independent testing. e.g. Purito Centella Green Level Unscented Sun was found to perform at SPF19 not SPF50 . Of course not all brands and products are affected, but have a quick google to check before buying.

I wouldn’t buy from eBay. There are a lot of fake cosmetics and skin care on there. They’re cheaper for a reason.

I use neutrigena age shield spf 110. Yes there is a white cast but a bit of cc cream on top (I use oil of olay with spf 15) sorts it out for me. I then put on my make up. I have red toned light brown skin so a bit darker than you and my skin is really sensitive.

Biore Watery Essence for me too. Sensitive, combination, dehydrated skin, patchy dry in the winter, patches of oil mixed with really dry in hay fever season or when I’ve got a cold. It’s always great & has never broken my very reactive skin out.

Ultrasun. They have a few different formulas in their spf50 range, from a very light lotion to a thicker cream with anti-pigmentation stuff in it. All one-a-day, which is very convenient. It can "pill" if you put on too much, and it sometimes catches in my eyebrows / hairline if I don't rub it in properly. Good protection from uva A and B.

There is limited evidence for this . And if someone is in the UK wearing it there is likely no risk
