Looking for a good handbag, budget £500...

Can anyone recommend brands and websites to find a handbag for a 19 year old. Hoping to get something with a "trendy" name that won't date easily. Probably more of a smart black bag rather than an everyday/college bag. I'm not keen on Michael Korrs. Would love to get her a LV or Mulberry but unless anyone knows any really good outlets it's out my price range. Thank you 😊

You could get a second hand Tod's bag off Handbagclinic or similar site for that amount.

What about aspinal, coach or furla maybe? It's a semi awkward budget for a luxe bag but if you have a little flex and are persistent I'd aim for a mulberry on sale.

I would also not be too fixed on black/rule out a nice neutral colour.

Really suprised at people saying Mulberry not being fashionable any more. It was always a coveted make through my early 20s, I have two mulberry’s myself and see them as pretty classic. Have always disliked Kate Spade and Coach, neither are really what I would class as a ‘luxe’ brand or indeed a young brand. See by Chloé is Chloé’s more budget friendly ‘everday’ range aimed at it’s younger clientele and they have some lovely bags. I second the posters who’ve mentioned the Outnet, it’s the outlet site of Net-a-Porter and has some fantastic bargains, new users can get 15% off with the code FIRST15.
