Hey has anyone tried this? The reviews are raving but I’d like to here it from Mumsnetters.

How do you know the reviews are genuine

I have the BFF de-stress and really rate it. I don’t love the smell but the product is really easy to apply and gives brilliant results. It feels very good on the skin, not at all mask like as you can get with some foundations. When I purchased this, it also came with a sample of the BFF and I loved it too. The concealer also came in a sample and I liked it, may order once I finish the other concealers I have. All in all I was very impressed with the products, before ordering had my fears about being a hype but they have worked well for me. If you are tempted to buy just check the website really well, they have lookbooks, a test and detailed descriptions to make sure you get the right colour for you.

Nope literally does nothing for me. I went for medium (even booked for online consultation to colour match) and it seems to have no colour at all to it. I use it with a dab on my foundation. Once it’s finished I’m going to try the bare minerals one as heard good things. The trinny eye colours are nice. But I feel a bit deceived by the videos. She just uses her fingers and looks great, I use mine and I look like a clown/ get it all over the place

I like it. I wear it on its own over moisturiser, then a bit of powder. Really easy and looks good. I don’t need separate eye concealer when I use it either so it’s pretty versatile. I also have the BFF cream and rate it too. You can use both together, ie use the cream, then add the serum, but that doesn’t work for my skin - I get pilling on my skin - so use one or the other.

Thanks so much guys. Appreciate the responses. It’s not the most expensive thing out there but still, it’s a decent spend so I appreciate your thoughts.

I tried some at at a Trinny concession just before lockdown and was very impressed. The girl at the counter took one look at me and chose just the right shade. I let it sit all day and it was still really nice and even by the evening. I ordered some online and am really happy with it.

I am obsessed with Trinny’s Instagram!

I ordered the other day after doing the online consultation as well as the Bff eye cream. Not a fan of makeup generally but feeling my age at the moment and hoping for a miracle Smile

I'm thinking of ordering the BFF but not the serum - I just want a very sheer bit of colour. How much coverage is the serum though? You're confusing me with recommending it 😂

Have any of you tried the bronzer too?!

My serum arrived yesterday so I put it to the test this morning. Bit of a mixed bag. I actually don’t think it is a serum as suchZ I was disappointed with the texture. It’s a lot more pigmented than I thought a serum would be and the texture is dryer. Not hugely keen so far but I’ll experiment with different primers and so on. I’d so far say I rate the MD Perricone no foundation serum much higher. I got a couple of testers too from Trinny a lip/cheek thing. It was also really dry in texture. Not a great first impression at all

Oh 😕 that sounds disappointing for you. I'll perhaps not order those then... I have the Bobbi brown pot rouge, is the lip-cheek thing like that or drier, do you know?

I bought the BFF tinted cream in medium, and I quite like it, but ceratinly not worth the rave reviews. I do look better if I use it as a primer under foundation, but not hugely noticeable vs other primers.

I just looked up the MD perricone one and it does look tempting I must say.

I hate buying this kind of thing online really, it's so hard to tell.

So I got a sample of the new serum and must say I don't like it at all... it's basically a foundation and I don't find it goes on well/sits well. You can see it on the skin too much. Do like the original BFF though, even though it makes me a bit shiny

Yes agree @upsidedownroundabout it’s just like an foundation. Don’t rate it at all. The MD periccone one is miles better

@upsidedownroundabout yes the lip cheek one is hideously dry too. Nowhere near the BB pot rouge. Much prefer the cloud paint by glossier
