Can anyone recommend a hair curler (possibly an air curler) please?

My daughter is 19 but only just getting into doing things with her hair other than shaving it all off! It's currently a shoulder-length bob, completely straight and very fine. I was thinking of an air curler for Christmas but definitely not anything very expensive as it may all get chopped off again soon! Googling isn't helping as it's so difficult to find genuine reviews.
QVC has one at around £50 which is tempting but at the top end of budget. Does anyone have experience with these circlers that vacuum your hair up? Thank you.

@iwantavuvezela that looks more like a volumiser and not a curler?

I’ve just got dd a cloud 9 hair curler. I’d been recommended the straighteners, but then saw the curler. Black friday has £20 off so it’s £89 plus a free gift.

It has good reviews and isn’t break the bank expensive with the discount.

Going to google that to see what it does 😀

@iwantavuvezela I bought one recently. It's bloody marvelous! You'll be amazed. I was!

@Anotherlovelybitofsquirrel - thank you - does it do “expert but easy type blowdrying” - might get for DD (and use for myself ) - it’s a good price on Amazon at the moment

@iwantavuvezela it's very easy to use yes, you can section for a bigger style, or just brush through. It dries fast. It's a much more styled look. It's got a few settings, one is cold. It's so much better than I hoped for the price. I love it. If you get one let me know how you get on. My DSis got one after I showed her my hair , she really loves hers too.

Thanks. Her hair is a bob, just above the shoulder, so I'm not sure if that one would be right as it looks like it's for longer hair? I was thinking something like this but I do t want to get something rubbish! Basically I want the Dyson air curler thing for cheap!
