Favourite Floral Street perfume?

Which scent do you prefer and why?

I want to try a new one (think I have had Wonderland Peony in the past and it was a bit too light for me). I tend to go for quite sweet perfumes. Favourites in the past have been Stella by Stella Macartney, Lola by Marc Jacobs, Flowerbomb by Viktor & Rolf (although this is a bit too sickly). Currently wearing Girl of Now by Elie Saab and Rose Pompon by Goutal

I love so many of them! Have you tried the little bottles?

I was going to start a thread about this! Would you recommend Floral Street? I'm thinking of a Christmas present for my 23yr old DD

@Sparklyring what ones are your favourites?

@kgal I’ve just followed the link that Sparklyring posted and they do the Discovery set and they also do the Scentschool boxes (which includes the discovery set plus more) where you have the option to choose a gift voucher for varying size perfumes on top. The scentschool box is £24 on its own which I think is a good price.

Floral Street are a lovely ethical brand. Beautifully packaged, vegan and recyclable. I think I’m going to get one for my daughter for Xmas also.

@Rollergirl11 thanks for the info. Sounds like it would suit my DD as she is vegan. Also the price seems reasonable.

@Rollergirl11 I go to the Chypre Sublime and Wild Vanilla Orchard most. Really not keen on the Black Lotus, I find it very musky and a bit masculine. I've worn Armani Si for years and years and I think the 2 I mentioned are similar kinds of smells/strengths (if that makes sense! Ha).

Oh I've just remembered Electric Rhubarb! That is gorgeous but not in the set so I forgot I had it. Might wear it today for pottering around the house!

I got the Floral Sreet Discovery Set and a voucher for a full size perfume last Christmas! I really enjoyed trying each one so I'd definitely recommend getting the set.

I went for a full size of Ylang Ylang Espresso in the end. It's a darker scent (I get tobacco and coffee) but still quite sweet. Black Lotus and Chypre Sublime are also heavy, dark scents -- really liked both. Iris Goddess and London Poppy are lovely, more on the light and summery side. The most recent release is Arizona Bloom. Super summery, smells of seasalt and coconut. I was going to buy the 10ml but unfortunately it doesn't seem to last as long as the others.

The only one I hated was Neon Rose. Not a fan of rose anyway but this was offensive to my nose! I wasn't too keen on Wild Vanilla Orchid either. Wonderland Peony and Electric Rhubarb are ok but overly sweet and teenage smelling to me.

Hope that helps! I really recommend looking up each scent on Fragrantica and reading the notes and reviews Smile

Neon Rose is my favourite as I love that fresh green cut stem smell with the old fashioned rose & summer cottage garden smell.
Neon Rose has that sharp fresh green smell similar to Fidji, Beautiful & Chanel Bel Respiro

Chypre Sublime is next as it smells grown up, in charge & evokes a mysterious woman in 1930s Paris or Berlin, also makes me think of Coco Chanel. (I also wear Gabrielle Essence, No5 L'Eau & Bel Respiro)

I also like London Poppy for summer & Ylang Ylang Expresso all year round.

This isn’t a Floral Street perfume - but Fragonard do a gorgeous floral perfume called Marche aux Fleurs - it isn’t sweet or sickly, and is my favourite floral perfume.

You do have to order it from Fragonard, in Grasse, but it isn’t expensive, and is, in my view, well worth it.
