Looking to buy something special for a relatives 40th birthday.

Have bought her one every year since her 12th birthday as a silly tradition and wanted something more than the run of the mill.

Lancôme hypnose is the best

Chantecaille
I’ve had this in several beauty advent calendars over the last couple of years and have finally had to actually buy it as I’d ran out
It’s lovely

SpeckledyHen Sat 31-Oct-20 15:02:31

Thank you . We have had the Hourglass and Lancôme one before.

Not tried the other 2 yet so possibilities.

Any more ?

Givenchy Phenomeneyes is brilliant, it’s quite long lasting too.

Chanel given it’s her 40th!

Estée Lauder double wear all the way!

PumpkinLove Sat 31-Oct-20 15:14:37

Yes OP, I have spent my life searching for the perfect mascara which separates and lengthens and I've finally found it this year! Ester Lauder Sumptuous Extreme. (I use waterproof).

SpeckledyHen Sat 31-Oct-20 18:45:40

We have had the EL double wear and I returned a Chanel one that was supposed to be waterproof but wasn’t so won’t go for these two .

Not tried Givenchy so that’s on the shortlist too .
Thank you .

Lancôme hypnose is the best

When I wear mascara which is rare I always use Lancombe. It's the best.

The Lancôme hypnose is an industry cult classic.

However I really love benefit roller lash! It’s not the most luxury mascara but it’s very good.

If I was going for packaging alone, perhaps Tom Ford?

If price isn’t an issue, you would go all out with this one:

I second the Dior.

I've just been involved in product testing Fenty's Full Frontal Volume, Lift and Curl and I have found my forever mascara 😍

It's around £21 so maybe not as high end as you were looking for, but it's fabulous!

avamiah Sun 01-Nov-20 04:02:13

Let’s be honest it has to be MAC in my opinion.
You can’t go wrong.

Blinc tubing mascara! My absolute favourite but too expensive for everyday because it gets quite thick/sludgy in the tube after 7 or 8 weeks. So good though, and doesn't flake or budge but washes off easily with warm water.

Chantecaille Faux Cils Longest Lash. It looks amazing and has growth serum in it.

SpeckledyHen Sun 01-Nov-20 07:57:20

Anymore votes smile
I want to order it today ....
