Find me a nice bag... budget £80-120ish

Help me find something. I feel like I’m driving myself crazy.

I need something with lots of pockets, preferably zipped compartments. I have a lot of health issues and take a lot of medication and have emergency injections. I also need to carry a bottle of water for medical reasons.

I would like it to be black leather if possible and have a shoulder strap. I don’t get on with backpacks etc.

I’ve looked at John Lewis, Radley, Fat Face, Asos, Next and Debenhams. Any ideas?!

Fat Faces Holly bag is the nearest I’ve found but I am not overly keen on the short shoulder strap as I’d probably just use the longer one and I think it would annoy me!

First world problems and all... need something to take my mind off Covid stuff!!

Have you thought of a bag plus a bag organiser insert ? Some come with a section designed for bottles.

I would personally go for a Longchamp Le Pliage and a Samorga organiser.

What about this one

Plus a bag organiser insert as SpeckledyHen suggested.

Thank you for the replies! Never heard of a bag organiser! Will google. And I quite like the look of the Radley bag provided I can get some pockets in it.

I've got the Radley bag in brown (it's called Patcham Palace Cross-body in official Radley speak) and I like it but you would struggle to get a water bottle to fit, unless there was barely anything else in the bag (the JL website has measurements so you can judge from that).

Ah, i didn't realise it wasn't very big.
I was actually looking for this one:

(I have this handbag, or something very similar, and love it.)

Have you tried Mai Tui? Their bags are reasonably priced (between £50 - £70) and have pockets for water bottles, mobile phones etc and lots of zips and compartments. The bags also come with little accessory bags (I use mine as my COVID bag and keep all my masks, hand sanitiser, anti bac wipes in there). I seem to remember the Jenny bag is quite large as I ordered one but sent it back as it was too big for me. They do them in loads of colours and they often do "bundles" where you get another bag free I believe. I have 3 of their bags and love them.

I have the Radley Wood street tote & it is a good size & quality. It would work well with a bag organiser.

It can fit a water bottle, umbrella, A4 documents with room for an organiser for your medicines etc. I have a leather fat face bag / satchel which I like but the quality is no where near as good as the Radley.

Those Mai Tui bags are really nice! Thank you for the link.

The Radley wood is nice too. It might be a little bit too smart / posh for me. I’m generally running about in baggy jeans / trainers and wearing a casual coat ... but it could work!

Thanks very much.

I know what you mean, it is a smart bag. It's a great price at £100 (I bought it full price which was still worth it as I've got so much use out of it... less so this year!)

It's always worth checking TKMaxx for bags.

Conkca bags are worth a look; I have one and it's superb quality.

The Mai Tui bags aren't leather though.
