Any shoes not flat or comfy. My poor feet have had enough thlgrin

ImEatingVeryHealthilyOhYes Wed 28-Oct-20 16:11:51

Black next to my face. Or lilac. I mean I could, but I’d look very unhealthy. Wish I’d figured that out years ago

GrimDamnFanjo Wed 28-Oct-20 16:13:10

Polo necks.

TheQueef Wed 28-Oct-20 16:13:39

Over the knee boots.
Small pants.

bananamonkey Wed 28-Oct-20 16:15:44

Skirts. I have 2 I’m persevering with but in general they look so weird on me and I find them difficult to style.

Deathraystare Wed 28-Oct-20 16:16:29

Lots of things!
Anything above the knee
Anything cropped (big tum)
Anything viscose (makes me sweaty) - which is the material of choice in most shops!
Anything with a high neck
Mustn't wear jumpsuits - would never make it to the loo on time!!

Maireas Wed 28-Oct-20 16:16:59

I've given up on skirts and dresses. They never look right on me. Trousers all the way.

Maireas Wed 28-Oct-20 16:18:08

Anything polyester. Sweaty.

Nowisthemonthofmaying Wed 28-Oct-20 16:19:31

Denim jackets. Wish I could but they make me look really tacky and I don't know why.

ChaToilLeam Wed 28-Oct-20 16:21:09

High heeled shoes. They are not for me any more. Too many turned ankles over the years.

BigusBumus Wed 28-Oct-20 16:23:05

Anything that you would have to tuck in and have your belt area showing. Like a shirt tucked into jeans with a nice belt. I'd love to, but I'm too tubby round the middle and have to wear things of "tunic" length ffs.

Plus any top with pocket flaps on the boobs. They stick out at right angles over by large chest and remind me of those aeroplane wing flaps that move up and down when you're coming into land.

Thesheerrelief Wed 28-Oct-20 16:25:22

Scarves- have lots of hair and also pointy jaw
Polo necks - see above. I just look odd
Pleated skirts - I love how they look on other people. On me they look like farmer's wife circa 1940 style and not in a good way
High necked tops - I have too much bosom
Paper bag waists - the big bosom and mum tum means there's about 2cm between my boobs and waist when I wear this style grin

ShaunaTheSheep Wed 28-Oct-20 16:30:42

Polyester - too sweaty
Anything flimsy
Hats- just don't suit me
Contact lenses - too faffy
Slip on shoes
Anything more than a touch of natural make up - look like a bad drag artiste

Hellohah Wed 28-Oct-20 16:31:28

White, I look shocking in anything white.

Thisbastardcomputer Wed 28-Oct-20 16:33:00

High heels but I'm glad I lived in them until rheumatoid arthritis struck.

anniversarywoes Wed 28-Oct-20 16:34:26

I'm slim but after 2 children and a hysterectomy.... grin
And yes, I know we all shouldn't give a damn etc but I feel much better about myself not wearing one, so that's clearly the better choice!!

SpaceOP Wed 28-Oct-20 16:35:08

Polo necks or any high necked top. Not only does it over emphasise the bust area, but even if I wanted to do that for some reason, within about 5 minutes I'm sweating, red-faced and generally look a mess as i just get too hot. It's awful.

Also any kind of basic round toe ballet slipper type shoe or slip on. I have a bunion and they are always unbearably uncomfortable. Have eyed up the more brogue-style from places like Russel and Bromley for years but have never had the hundreds of pounds to actually buy any. Cheap knock off versions always have the same problem as the more standard style (I assume it's a cost thing - there's more leather and more work in a shoe that doesn't end at the toe line?). Even M&S wide fit, which I do have a few shoes from there, fit weirdly and uncomfortably in that style.

Takethewinefromtheswine Wed 28-Oct-20 16:35:27

Flat ballet shoe things. I have feet like a hobbit. Cropped trousers as have massive ankles.

LongPauseNoAnswer Wed 28-Oct-20 16:36:14

Tea dresses. I look like I’m smuggling a collie no matter what size I wear. It’s a source of pain, I love them.

Dmtush Wed 28-Oct-20 16:37:53

Jeans. My arse looks like a blimp.

LunaNorth Wed 28-Oct-20 16:40:26

Heels. Just fucking agony and I seriously don’t know how anyone does it.

SquirrelFan Wed 28-Oct-20 16:44:17

Bare legs (veinier than a Shropshire Blue)

GoudaGirl Wed 28-Oct-20 16:47:21

Being short and of advancing years and and advancing midriff to boot:
Cropped trousers
Anything floaty or voluminous- look like a poison dwarf (sorry dwarfs)
High heels except for just sitting- I generally get downstairs in them , and take them off and replace with a pair of Sketchers..
Tiny knickers (ouch) - Sloggi types are the Sketchers of undies..aaah!
Very high polo necks- make me look like Mrs Potato Head
Of all these the high heels thing is the one I mourn. So many nice dainty shoes out there..

remaininshroud Wed 28-Oct-20 16:48:03

Mini skirts. Even though I have great
