Waterproof skinny walking trousers?

Someone posted a link to a site which had fashionable style skinny walking trousers, I think they might have also been fleece lined. This was ages ago, I can’t remember the name and I’m not coming up with anything when I google.

Does anyone remember? They were quite pricey as I remember, but they looked good!

I want whatever it is Julia Bradbury wears on her walking programmes

Especially the leggings. She looks fab, and very expensive

Just googled her - ha I should be so lucky to look half as good as her!

Second Acai - they are great for dog walking

Ooh these look good, do they run true to size?

Decathlon have some lovely ones this season. Depends how skinny you want but I like the cut & all the pockets 🙂

It was Açai I was thinking of! I wonder why googling didn’t turn them up? I do love the colours they offer.

@Cornucopia55 I was literally in Decathlon yesterday <facepalm>. I’ll be there next week as it’s in my local Asda so I’ll check those out too,

Thanks all.

When I was in Decathlon, they didn't have store stock of the ones that looked nicest-their pricier ones. Will depend on the store size, but best to check online I think. Though I'm now tempted by the Acais!

Acai are amazing - they come up quite long and are reasonably true to size (slightly big if anything)

Cornucopia55 Sun 25-Oct-20 20:30:51

Does anyone want to give me a Refer A Friend code for Acai? I'm going to buy a pair. Looks like the scheme would give us both a discount, but more for the referrer...

DougalandFlorence Sun 25-Oct-20 21:35:19

I’m about to order if you want to use mine, @Cornucopia55

DougalandFlorence Sun 25-Oct-20 21:35:44

(thank you!)

Cornucopia55 Sun 25-Oct-20 22:14:29

Done @DougalandFlorence - I think you need my email address to claim your referrer discount so I'll pm it to you. Using your code saved me £12 smile thank you.

DougalandFlorence Sun 25-Oct-20 22:32:38

Thank you! That’s great, I’m looking forward to getting mine grin

The ACAI ones aren’t waterproof. If anyone sees decent waterproofs I’m your girl

Forresttheout Mon 26-Oct-20 07:17:13

I've been eyeing up acai for a while can anyone tell me how warm they are? I'm not in the UK and was worried they might be overly warm, I usually walk the dogs in Jeans but was worried the water resistance might make them a bit less breathable?

Annebronte Mon 26-Oct-20 08:00:15

Açai come in different weights for the seasons. The lightweight ones aren’t too hot. They’re not absolutely waterproof, but water does bead off them and they dry super quickly.

Annebronte Mon 26-Oct-20 08:00:54

I find the thin ones less hot than jeans.

gorgeous trousers 🎉

Forresttheout Mon 26-Oct-20 08:39:57

Thanks, I stupidly hadn't noticed the summer weight ones, I'm not after something fully waterproof just something that won't end up heavy and sodden walking through bushes and quick drying is great as we don't have a tumble dryer. Think i'll order a pair next time I make it to the UK

Acai are amazing - they come up quite long and are reasonably true to size (slightly big if anything)

It looks like they do 3 leg lengths which is good.
I don't like buying trousers without trying, but I might give these a shot.

are these trousers stretchy? I have fat knees, so what i'm asking is will they go over my knees confused
