Long socks?

I want some funky long socks to wear scrunched down with boots and leggings in the winter. I’d really like some old fashioned stripy football style socks but anything long and not plain black or grey would be good. Any ideas?

I usually buy kilt socks, very cosy, and usually available in black, grey, dark green, brown or cream. If you are in Scotland you can usually pick them up for a quid a pair, ex-rental from kilt shops. Otherwise, you’ll get them online, 10-15 quid a pair.

My legs are too chunky, but dd loves these from john lewis.

Fatface do good long socks, I have several pairs. I have my eye on these for this winter www.fatface.com/accessories-home/womens-accessories/socks/knee-high-socks/957931.html?cgid=accessories-women-socks&dwvar_957931_color=teal#pagination=true&start=28

Try leg warmers for topping boots with, normal socks, then use leg warmers for the loon you want scrunching over the boot

Army surplus Arctic socks, 100% wool, washable, long enough to fold back if need be. Usually white, sometimes green, around £11 a pair.

Thanks! Kilt socks are a new one on me! Will investigate.

I LOVE the look of those fatface ones but don’t want majority polyester.

THANK YOU @mrsfeatherbottom! The Avoca ones are perfect and also I love that place and spent so many hours as a poor student wandering round stroking the homewards. Spoilt for choice now!
