Best clarifying shampoo?

Looking for recommendations if possible please. My hair is feeling / looking decidedly manky right now despite regular washing and I'm pretty sure it's down to product buildup.

I'm looking at the Neutrogena anti residue shampoo but thought I'd check here with the wise Mumsnetters to see if there were any tried and tested remedies first.

I’m impressed with Superdrug’s Argan oil clarifying shampoo. I use lee staffords shampoo brush too & it gets the scalp so clean you feel like the hair dressers shampooed you.

I've heard this, tried my kids shampoo but it wasn't Johnson's baby and didn't really help so might see if I have an ancient bottle of Johnson's in the cupboard

Either the Bumble & Bumble Sunday shampoo or the Klorane mint one (smells divine, like real mint not the fake stuff).

I love lee stafford keep it clean range, hair and scalp feel great afterwards

Any bog standard shampoo. In a small container, add 1 tbsp baking powder to 1 tbsp shampoo just before shampooing. Stir the mixture up, shampoo on, rinse and repeat. Use your usual conditioner.
The baking powder lather lifts any build-up right off of the hair and leaves it light and swishy.

My hairdresser recommended one to me last week which she uses herself and said it’s fabulous.

It’s from Home Bargains but am sure other shops will sell it too and it’s called Herbal Essence detox shampoo around £2.99. I must remember to get some
