FOLLOWING!! There appear to be a lot of elasticated waist / drawstring culotte style trousers but they’re always sold out above a size 10. Is this what I’ve been hunting for, I just can’t get my hands on a pair? Wish I liked leggings!

There are so many different types, what are you looking for?

I love these! I have them in indigo but I think I'll be buying in more colours.

I like the look of those Raft trousers. I can't believe the one size fits so many sizes.

What is the rise on those trousers @Tiggytico?

Search eBay fir magic trousers - they are much much cheaper than these.

I buy mine from Michelle Chapman clothing on Facebook, pay about £18 a pair inc postage.

They come in 2 sizes, 1 for 10-16 and one 18-22

I think they were the ones I tried on at the weekend. They were £18, and amazingly comfortable - and too short.

In winter I don't want to wear my trousers rolled up. I'm 5'7", so not ridiculously tall, and I was disappointed at how short they were.

I don’t beleive the holy grail exists, which is why, unless it’s really cold, l tend to almost live in dresses.

These are the raft ones modelled on my size 14, 5'6" post lockdown body! Inside leg is 29.5" and they are high rise (12" from crotch seam to top of waistband).

Anyone tried these - not sure why they are creased and again slightly shorter... rubyanddaisy.co.uk/products/the-magic-trouser?gclid=EAIaIQobChMI5PHBu7_b6wIVhrTtCh3duA0pEAAYASAAEgJWHfD_BwE

With an inside leg of only 27" they would only be good in the summer for most people. They should be marketed as cropped trousers. I need a 32" inside leg for winter.

I like combat/cargo trousers at the moment and trying to increase my amount of pairs, so useful, pockets! not overly tight (although have a skinny pair too). Its good they have been "in" again with the return of 90's fashion.
H& M have loads.

Having tried a pair of magic trousers on I was amazed at how comfortable they were. Does anyone know if they are made in longer leg lengths?

Comfy is one thing, but do they make you look like a sack of potatoes?

Found this thread as I'm looking for comfy work from home clothes - I've lived in my loose Next summer dresses (and skanky sweat pants some days...) for the last 6 months and I need something to make me feel more 'worky' again. Having also put on about half a stone (which seems to be completely round my middle), loose clothes are the way forward.

Those magic trousers look great but do they bag at the knee if you're sitting down a lot?

I got these ones from Debenhams, they're really comfy but look smart (& they have pockets).
I bought a 2nd colourway this week as they're so good.

I'm 5 ft 5 and a size 12. The Gabi trousers are my holy grail - their size 10 is a perfect fit. I have just bought the dark chocolate cord version and I LOVE them. Flattering, good quality and so comfy. I wish they came in a bigger variety of colours.
