Does anyone own anything from this brand? Opinions on quality and fit. I've seen some things I like online including a pair of jeans but no idea what their stuff is like.

It’s lovely but made for very chic, tiny Parisians so even the biggest size is too small for me (5’7 size 12 but with admittedly quite large boobs)

I have a pleated skirt that is one of my favourite, easy to wear, immediately stylish items. And a dress that hasn't had an outing yet as it's for a wedding, but Christ it's gorgeous. Makes me feel incredible.

Quality is great (should be, it's ££). Sizing is on the smaller side.

Fit is small, even the by French standards. I'd say roughly over a 10 the choice will be limited. Quality used to be really good, these days I don't buy it much as the prices have gone up but materials have often been switched out for cheaper ones but usually there are still nice things in among there but it's not as consistently reliable as it once was.

Maje is a sort of sister brand, as in, it's owned by the sister of the owner of Sandro and there are a lot of similarities in sizing and fit just slightly different style but I tend to find the quality more reliable there.

My absolute favourite coat I own is by Sandro. It goes on and people treat me better in shops and tell me I look well. A woman once came up to me in the street and said ‘oh my gawd you look so cuuuuute’ when I was wearing it. I literally LOVE that coat.

So yep, I am a fan.

It’s lovely (as is Maje - very interchangeable) but I think very overpriced. I have only ever bought one thing full price rather than sale and that is because I totally fell in love with it. But was still overpriced 🤣

Interested to read the comment about Maje and sizing. Would you say a size 2 equates to a 10?
I’ve seen a Maje cardigan and wondering whether to opt for size 1 or 2. I’m an 8-10 on top so wondering how much smaller they are.

Ooh this is good to know. Thanks ladies. And yes omg I love Maje as well! I have noticed quite a few similarities between the brands, so this makes total sense 👍🏻

I've loved Sandro for years as well as its sisters maje and Claudie pierlot. In my opinion they have too much polyester stuff and I don't want to pay hundreds of pounds for polyester so just check the material - but they have lots of great cotton and cashmere stuff too.

I’ve got loads from Sandro and Maje. Quality is OK for the price (I buy them when discounted/on sales).
Size is normal, not small, they just don’t do the vanity sizing bulls**t that many other brands do - I usually buy size 1 which is equivalent to UK 8 and I am 5ft 7 / 8 stones. If anything it can be slightly too large but size 6/XS tends to be a bit tight as I’m quite tall etc... Size 2 is definitely a 10.
