It hurts! Lol. Especially if it's cold outside for the first few days, or if you get it caught on your shower scrunchie Grin
Mine healed quite quickly though, I had it for a couple of years before I took it out, I loved it Smile

I loved how it looked, but there’s no polite way of saying it, it fucking hurt.

I wouldn’t get it done again, not because I didn’t like it , I loved it. But don’t underestimate how much it hurts going through such a sensitive area. That said the pain was very quick and it was over fast

Do it! It's liberating! I've taken mine out after 9 years because I'm due to give birth soon. Wouldn't have done otherwise!

It hurts like fuck, and that was with getting the area numbed! Mine took a while to heal, it wasn’t infected or anything, just took a while.
Mine has closed up now-I had to take my jewellery out a few years ago for an MRI, and when I went to put it back in about a week later, it had closed over and that was after having it pierced for about 10 years!

Can you explain why anyone would do this? I am mystified and wonder what the appeal is please.

I like piercings and it was my way of reclaiming my body after I’d had my children and breastfed them both...and if you like that sort of thing, it can add some sensitivity sexually

I agree, it really fucking hurts even with spray. Mine was also the one that tookages healing and the slightest thing could set it off. I assume as it was confined by a snug fitting bra it wasn't really given a chance. Mine fell out when I was in bed ill for a few days and was difficult to get back in. As I was pregnant I left it out as was worried about the ring during breastfeeding. DS always loved that side as milk would com out the hole.

I did love how it looked and used to wear a shield type jewelry. And er there is the bonus of it being extra sensitive when being stimulated

I think the same about straigtening hair, twatting around with make up, talon nails etc

But realise that different people have different things they like the appeal off

Mines was done years ago and I wasn’t numbed up so my experience was pretty sore. The guy who did mines said the bigger your nipples the worse the pain is. I had a C cup so it was pretty sore. You imagine holes being made in one go, you don’t think if your boobs are bigger it won’t go through in one go because they have to pierce, line up then pierce the other side so it takes precision and time.

I loved the look of it, but if you do have bigger boobs you will have to wear a ring piercing, you can’t really wear the bar as your nipples will be too big. I did take mines out when I was pregnant with my first DC as for some reason it just didn’t feel right for me. The one bonus is if your nipples are any way inverted as one of mines was slightly - it corrects it.

@RustyLeesBogBrush is that true about bigger breasts? I am 34H but don't think i have bigger nipples than smaller boobed people.

Out of curiosity for those saying it hurt a lot.... Have you other piercings and how does both the initial pain and the healing pain compare with, say, a cartilage piercing?

“The guy who did mines said the bigger your nipples the worse the pain is. I had a C cup so it was pretty sore.”

What does this mean?

I was going to ask if it decreased sensitivity in the area but from others replies it seems it increases it? Is that always the case or can it sometimes decrease sensations there? thats what Im afraid of...

Also re healing... Can you still do sports while it heals?

I had mine done years ago.
It was the most painful of my piercings( various cartilage piercings, nose, vch) and it remained painful for a few days, but it healed very quickly and I never had any problems with it. I found cartilage piercings the worst for healing

Yes you can, just don’t try to sleep on your front though!

I had both of mine done at the same time, wasn't the most painful piercing I've had. Forgot I had them pierced after a few hours. Healing was really quick for me and the only time they bother me now is if I catch them which isn't often. I have quite big boobs (38f) and I've always worn bars as I don't like the look of rings personally.

I had both of mine done at the same time years ago too.
I found it annoying that they would show through the bra and top so I ended up having to pad inside the bra with some tops for work otherwise it was obvious that my nipples were pierced

Mine got completely desensitized after being pierced Sad But they were pierced multiple times so that might be the reason, or perhaps one of the piercers was bad and did the placement wrong. I kept them for about 13-14 years and now I have barely any feeling in my nipples. Again, might not be a common thing, but a possibility to keep in mind if something goes wrong.

I had both done and absolutely loved them.

Took them out about a year ago though as my body started reacting to the metal.

It didn't hurt getting it done as they numb it, but the healing process is fucking painful- you don't realise how many times your boobs bump into things!!!!

Would advise getting bars as opposed to rings.

I am really surprised so many people said it was sore.
Iv had both mine done for over 18 yeas and it was one of the least painful piercings!

My mother and brother have also had them done and while my brother said it was painful none of us thought it was outrageously sore!

One of mine took a long time to heal and I had a few problems with it but it eventually settled and it's been fine since.

They feel part of my body now I don't think I'll ever take them out unless I need to for medical reasons.

The only thing you have to get used to in the early days is needing a bra that covers the fact that they show under clothing.

It was my most painful piercing, and I have more than 20 including genital and surface piercings

I love mine! I have many piercings and honestly it was nowhere near as painful as I was expecting but they were very tender for a few days after and as mentioned above can hurt (a lot) if they happen to get caught on anything!

Report
FortyFacedFuckers · 29/08/2020 23:16

Ps I’m sure you will but do your research and make sure you go to a good place to have it done.

I am curious to know why you want them pierced
