Tinted moisturiser for very very pale skin with pink undertones

I used to wear Laura Mercier tinted moisturiser in cameo which was the perfect shade for my extremely pale skin with pink undertones. They've now changed the formula and the new cameo shade makes me look yellow.

I've also tried Bare Minerals complexion rescue gel cream in Opal 01 which is a bit better but not quite right.

Does anyone have any suggestions? I don't like heavy coverage so prefer to stick with a tinted moisturiser but I'm pale pale pale so hard not to look orange!

Nars tinted moisturiser in Finland is the one I use.

I’m a redhead with skin like tissue paper and it is undetectable on me.

I'm very pale pink too and have never found a tinted moisturiser that wasn't too yellow. What works for me is Boots Foundation Drops in the palest colour, I can't remember the shade name. I just mix it into my sun screen.

@LunaNorth I'm also a redhead. I live very rurally so I'm not able to see any of these in shops in person. I'll check out Finland.

@BlackAmericanoNoSugar pale pink is the right description for me too!

I was just coming to recommend nars Finland too. It's great, very light but still gives a bit of coverage.

If you can’t find a tinted moisturiser, try the No7 super light stay perfect foundation.

I also prefer tinted moisturisers but picked this up the other day (in shade Calico and there’s now one lighter than that) and it’s already my favourite ever base. Beats my NARS tinted moisturiser and BareMinerals complexion rescue hands down.

It’s very liquid, very very lightweight but has lovely light coverage and lasts all day. When it does fade it does so evenly so I don’t look all patchy. It’s literally all I’m using now!

I have the same colouring and I swear by Chanel les Beiges tinted moisturiser in Light. I'm on my 4th bottle now, and I never usually re buy the same products

Nars TM or MAC Face and Body in N1
Otherwise I’d recommend looking at light coverage foundation and mix with moisturiser or primer

@chartreuse I've just ordered a sample of this chanel one from Ebay. Looks like a strong possibility from pics of swatches online!

Ooh I'm in this camp too and not finding samples online - is there a link please?
I've got a BB Aldi one but it too is yellow

@polkadotpjs this is what I ordered. It looks promising but I need to get samples because I have two pricey full tinted moisturisers that just don't suit!

I'm glad you said this OP as I thought the same with a cameo repurchase but thought I was going mad.

Missha BB cream. I use the second palest colour, even though virtually all European foundations aren't pale enough for me.

I’m pale too, with pink undertones, and actually add yellow in to my TM to knock some of the pinkness back. I want rosiness on the apples of my cheeks, but nowhere else

To add to this, most days I use Trinny London’s BFF cream in the shade ‘Lightest’.

It’s amazing stuff. Just need a bit of concealer under the eyes and any blotchy bits and that’s it.

Boot No. 7 BB cream (fair) is worth checking out.

Lily lolo do a great BB cream. I buy it in the palest shade and it is very pale. I think it should be fine undertone-wise too.

@teacuptale just looked up Lily Lolo and they have the option to buy a sample which is great!

No7 Hydraluminous is also worth a look - I'm pale with pink undertones and like Calico.

Watching with interest, as I have similar colouring.

I quite like Erborian BB creme in "clair", but am always on the lookout for new things to try.

OP, please can you come back later on and update us on how you get on with the samples you've ordered?

Nars Finland is likely to be too yellow toned, I would go nars terre neuve

Report
msgloria · 30/08/2020 21:58

Agree with Nars Terre Neuve recommendation rather than Finland - I too am very pale with pink undertones
