For easy, laidback wear with jeans, skirts etc. Will they work or are they too smart for me?

I have no idea what you are like but they look smart and a good price.
Go for it.

I love Russell and Bromley, most of my shoes are from there but I think these are hideous, sorry.

They look exactly like the shoes the physio's and nurses wore in the 1980's.

Ohhhhh no not keen at all / sorry OP

WhoEatsPopTarts Thu 20-Aug-20 19:44:18

They look like Asda trainers

FraughtwithGin Thu 20-Aug-20 20:03:52

I think they look like orthopaedic shoes, sorry.
I am afraid I do not like white footwear, unless on a bride.

Stumpedasatree Thu 20-Aug-20 20:18:55

Thanks all, I got a bit too excited. I agree and I'll send them back.

These look a bit less formal and are the same sort of price

You could get almost the same thing for a lot less from Hotter.

God no op. Just because something is on sale from an expensive brand, it doesn’t mean it’s nice.
There are soooo many gorgeous white trainers around at them moment for around that price.

Oly4 Thu 20-Aug-20 21:31:52

Another R&B fan but those are awful. Get some normal white
Leather trainers

Hyperfish101 Thu 20-Aug-20 23:22:21

Get Stan Smiths. Classic white trainer. Or if you want smarter, get Clark’s. M and S do a decent White trainer too.

They are a bit Florida gran on paired with her denim 2 piece.

I love R&B but generally think with trainers stick to trainer brands.

I was about to say they look exactly like Gravity from Hotter. Although they’re actually more expensive.

May I suggest adidas sleek? I know you'll get a lot of stan smith suggestions but I much prefer these, the leather is not shiny, its soft and matte and a bit less ubiquitous.

Thanks for the suggestions. I like the Adidas sleek.
