Open toed boots?

I must be getting old - I thought boots were meant to keep your feet warm & dry

Do like the first ones though.

What about those of us with fat calves, who are almost 6ft tall and therefore look very big in heels?
I don't like those open toe boots though, surely the point of boots is to keep your feet warm!

But the question you have to ask is this: Are they as wide on the inside as on the outside?

If she's as old as I think she is then that's about right sort of uniform for him to be wearing

those boots are VILE

I bought myself some very nice boots thoguh. Main reason I bought them was I could stuff my fat calves into them and they were not specially for wide legs. Oh so smug. However I wore the skin off my heels hiking about in them (because I didn't want to try and get them off again too soon). What an idiot. I do this all the time with new shoes.

My boots are REALLY REALLY NICE. And they fit

Mind you this morning I wondered whether I should start an AIBU thread about hating women who can fit calves AND jeans into their boots. It's like they're really rubbing it in with their dainty little stick-like calves.

I do like the first boots It says they're normal inside with the baggy flap over the top (& no revolting comments about baggy flaps please)
