Anyone used HairStory New Wash

I wash my hair every day. Always have. Normally use Aussie miracles. But saw an advert on my fb for this and wondered what it was like. It’s sooooo expensive to take a punt on. I get really greasy hair after a day. I’ve tried not washing every day but I just get itchy and lank hair. I’ve started using an oil cleanser for my face which is great and wondered if this would be the same kind of thing.

Yes, I tried it after seeing it on Instagram. I didn't like it - I had to use a lot to get my hair really clean and it is very expensive. My hair did look kind okay but felt very 'heavy' and didn't get greasy any less quickly. I prefer Living Proof GHD shampoo to help my hair last longer between shampoos.

Ok, thanks. Did you use their 30 day money back thing? I have very fine hair that goes lank after a day and a half. Ever since puberty. I’ll have a look at living proof.

I forgot about the 30 day thing! Gah...
Living Proof is sulfate free but a bit more like normal shampoo. The hair story stuff is like a thick conditioner that doesn't lather at all.
Also, it's called PHD (perfect hair day) not GHD!

Yes it's shite. And so incredibly expensive.

I’m guessing they're hoping people forget about the 30 day thing. I’ve decided I’m not gonna buy it. It’s so expensive and also from what you said it seems heavy. I saw all the positive reviews but just don’t really trust them for some reason.

I haven't used it but read about it .
It sounds a bit like Wen (which I have tried )

Wet hair , apply a lot of the product , comb through, wait , rinse for a good while .

I read the good/bad reviews before I bought it . (QVC) Some people said their hair didn't feel clean, it made their hair feel lank.
Others loved it , bought gallon bottles for the whole family plus the dog !

I liked it enough to finish the bottle but not to rebuy .
I bought a dupe (Superdrug own brand) but didn't like it .

One thing I read on the New Wash site (like the Wen site) is you have to use it a few times to get the best effect .

I tried it and liked it. It did take a bit of getting used to to get the clean feeling - I have to really work it into the roots and leave it on. It left my hair feeling really nice but in the end I stopped using it as I felt it was too expensive for the benefits, particularly as I wash my hair frequently (I exercise ever day). I now use other gentle shampoos which are a fraction of the cost!

It sounds like a bit of a faff. Combing it through and stuff. Aussie miracles is fine but I was just wondering about something more natural. I’ve used some of the hippy ones like faith in nature but they never seem to make my hair feel nice. So I always go back to Aussie
