Help me not look like a bag lady

I'm am just back to work after being furloughed for a few months and will not be working at one fixed site. Everywhere I go I need to take everything I need, so laptop (it's a larger size one), laptop bag and various paperwork, handbag and my lunch. Just to complicate, I do intermittent fasting so don't start eating until 1/2pm. I would really like to use one of those insulated lunch bags.

With all this, I feel like a bag lady Grin. How can I make myself more streamlined?!

For work I use a rucksack that holds a laptop and has enough room to fit my lunch and bits and bobs. I think you can get more ‘handbag style’ ones but I use a Patagonia atom women’s specific (matters for me because I am short and have a short torso, when I carry DH’s backpack it’s uncomfortable). Much more comfortable and streamlined.

I use a black wheely case, just big enough for laptop, couple of files, lunch etc. I have a small cross body handbag for phone, keys, purse etc.

Thanks for those ideas. Like you say, maybe I can "drop" a bag by using one for both.

I’d go for a laptop backpack. Take a look at Knomo.

Also a laptop backpack user and seconding Knomo. I use a smaller insulated lunch bag inside with a couple of little cooler packs. I keep my handbag small, and let the laptop take the strain. I also recommend looking at Kipling, which takes the battering of the road well and comes in business-appropriate colour nylon material. The Kipling monkey can stay home.

Should have added I also do IF and find the small cooler sufficient.

Agree re laptop backup that's big enough to carry your lunch box as well. then a normal shoulder handbag can hold your day to day stuff.

I have a Whistles backup that I use as a lap top bag and usually shove whatever extra I need in there as well (in my case, often shoes as I will wear flats into the City then swap to heels).

I use a large laptop backpack for uni, as I have a gaming laptop so its chunkier than say a MacBook. I ordered this one and its lasted a year as not only my daily backpack but also where I put my weekly food shop on the bike:

Thank you everyone. I just measured my laptop and it's 18" Confused. I'm going to have a search from these suggestions and see what's available.

Hang on! I'm getting confused. How do you measure your laptop size?

https://www.dell.com/si/business/p/vostro-15-3558-laptop/pd

So I did the simple thing and googled my laptop Grin and it's suggesting a 15.6" bag. I thought you had to measure corner to corner. Obviously not! Im off to do some shopping!
