Dinner date dress

I recently ordered a dress but unfortunately it looks more like a dressing gown than a sexy dress

I'm looking for a sexy-ish but understated dress. Budget £150
Hourglass figure size 14 big boobs
Would like red or bright pink preferably but open to all suggestions.
My style is quite simple and unfussy but I'm happy to embrace the change!

Is nobody bored tonight to help me look?

We need a few cues OP. Is it posh or summer informal? What's your usual style? Are you heels and fake tan or what?

Budget is really £150

I'm quite casual but do like to dress up. It's a dinner date in a nice hotel with my partner I've not seen since beginning of lockdown.

I'm only short too at 5'3"

This was my original choice but certainly doesn't look the £150 I paid!

Its pretty in the picture. Does it not look like quality in real life?

No it's shocking. It's like a thin satin dressing gown. It's not lined and two cheap press studs keep it together!

Don't like that oasis one. It's too long. I'd either prefer knee length or mid calf length.

A quick google gave me these three. All great bargains too.

I'm a similar shape and size so tried to find something I thought would suit me but I actually can't wear wrap type dresses at all so those Ted Baker ones might not be good.

Love the ted baker ones although not sure if they'll be forgiving on my hips!

If you're an hourglass that dress would hug you in at the waist (where you are smallest) and then skim over your bigger hips. I think it would look lovely!

I wish I had an hourglass shape and could wear something like that but unfortunately I'm built like a rectangle with absolutely no waist to show off!

Is that the red one or coral one?

Love that pink one goose. Is it more wedding like or be ok for dinner?

What's the quality like from silkfred?

Try and get something by Needle and Thread. Way out of budget but try ebay or a looky likey.
