Hi all,

I have some lovely skin creams but could do with a deep moisturising cream or treatment, perhaps couple of time’s a week. I’m using some nice anti-aging products but feel my skin is a little dry at the minute. Can anyone recommend a good budget cream or treatment pls!

I think there's nothing better than the blue pot Nivea for a good moisture boost, I always whack a load on if my skin is feeling extra dry. There is nothing else like it for me, and I've tried a lot!

If you don’t mind strong scents then weleda skin food is extremely moisturising. A little goes a long way.

This one is absolutely amazing. However, it’s bright, bright orange. And I don’t mean a little bit orange.

You need to put just two drops in to your ordinary moisturiser a couple of hours before bed or you have to sleep on a towel. But it’s worth it because it’s like actual magic. And it lasts for ages as you hardly need any at all. I use it once every three nights roughly and it’s transformed my skin.

Do you drink enough water?. A nursing home I used to visit kept on pushing summer levels of drinks throughout the winter to see if they got less UTI as a result and I noticed the residents legs weren’t as dry to the extent that I thought they’d started using a different moisturiser on them.

Thanks! I’ll take a look at these.

I drink a lot of water usually, perhaps haven’t had as much recently though, so will also try that!

I find layering products better than using one heavy one. I have dehydrated/dry skin and I use a hyaluronic acid serum, a ceramide serum, 3 drops of oil pressed into the skin and then a moisturiser, you could try that. You could even add a hydrating mist in.

Superdrug's vitamin E day cream, this one.

I can't use things like this on my face as it's oily, but my neck isn't and I need a very moisturizing one for my neck. I use this in the morning and the overnight version at night. Really nice, smell nice and not expensive at all.

Nivea blue pot one (nivea soft in white pot for daytime) at bed time.

Or coconut oil.

Both cheap.

Others are fond of Astral and E45. I've tried both but like the Niveas better.

Cerave moisturising cream is the best.
