T zone oil slick and dry cheeks. Any moisturiser recommendations

Ive used La Roche Posay Hydraphase quite happily for about 4 years. I’ve had problems with my HRT which I’ve had to change about 3 times and my skin has gone bonkers. It’s returned to my teenage greasy T zone with dry cheeks. The hydraphase seems to make it more greasy. I use miscellar water to cleanse and exfoliate with a muslin cloth and cleaner. My skin is completely unbalanced. I’ve tried using just argan oil as a moisturiser and there’s no improvement. My skin is fairly sensitive and I’m pushing 60. Can anyone recommend a balancing moisturiser? Do I need to change my cleansing routine and if so to what? TIA

Have you thought about using two different moisturisers? One for your oily t zone and one for the rest of your face?

Also, I would highly recommend you stop using miscellar water- it's incredibly harsh and is likely the cause of your sensitive skin. It's excellent at removing oils including makeup- but if you remove too much of your natural protective oils, then your skin barrier becomes compromised and you will experience sensitive skin.

Thanks CC. No I hasn’t thought of two moisturisers. Any cleaning recommendations? I didn’t realise miscellar water was harsh.

Is recommend you look for a glycolic acid wash or lactic acid wash and make sure to use an exfoliator a couple of times a week.
Your dry cheeks are more likely to be dead skin which needs to be exfoliated. Exfoliating will also help the oily areas of your face by removing dead skin, you can use salicylic acid to help break down excess oils.

Alumier b&c is really great toner to add into your routine.
I'd recommend using a stand alone hyaluronic acid serum, rather than any thick heavy moisturisers.
PCA Hyaluronic acid boosting serum is fab

I wouldn’t moisturise the t zone at all.

Thanks so much. I’ll look into all that CC. I see the word acid and then don’t go further thinking it’ll be too harsh if my skin is sensitive but I need to try something different to try sort this out.
if use no moisturiser in t zone I get flaky patches at the side of my nose Fluffy

Don't be afraid of acids! They can be wonderful.

Hyaluronic acid, for example will hydrate your skin- it's like a drink for your skin.

Alumiers SensiCalm is what you need for sensitive skin as it will help restore your skin barrier
