Uniqlo sizing

I've never purchased from this company. Would a size 14 be a medium or a large ?
I'm also quite short so what's the sizing like on dresses and trouser length ? Thank you.

I’d go with large. I’m very tall and find things particularly short from there so they might fit you well.

Large. I'm a 12 and fit a medium.

Their online fit guide is quite good. I'd say the lengths are quite long.

Large or even XL If the item has no stretch. It's very small fitting compared to other stores.

Large or even extra large . Don’t forget their sizes are Japanese .

Definitely large.
Medium is not generous.

Going against the grain here, I got some jeans and sized down in them, but they were ridiculously, laughably huge. The model wore them slouchy but the thing that annoyed me was that the hips to waist barely tapered so when they slid down to fit on my hips there was a gap of about two inches between me and the waistband all the way round and they were indecent on the bum as you could see straight down. I am short and size 8/10 and got a jumper in a S and it only just fits on the shoulders but is great everywhere else, so I think they cut for narrow shoulders and no curve in the hips.

I have bought dresses and find them very large

They are a bit all over the place.
I've noticed the following: tops/ t-shirts come up large, sometimes massive, I wear XS.
Knitwear /trousers/skirts are as you'd expect so I wear S. Dresses vary, with even an XS being far too big for me sometimes.
I'm an size 8 in Boden (best shop ime for consistent sizing).
They'll recommend a size for you if you give them your details, perhaps not for all items but I've done that once or twice.

I'm a 12 and almost everything I have from Uniqlo is a medium. I do find that the slouchy look on the models translates into a comfy, trim fit for me as I am top heavy i.e. dresses. The things I have that are not mediums are looser t-shirts in a small.

Ah, Uniqlo sizing.... I’m a 14 top, 12 for bottoms. Medium trousers are fine, on the top t-shirts are medium as most other summer tops, however their sweaters I prefer in an XL as I prefer a slightly looser fit than belly-hugging. Long sleeve t-shirts are a large for me.

However their returns are pretty uncomplicated. And I’ve only had one disappointment- a pair of thermal jeggings (yes, I really did type that) that I got last oct that now have 2 small holes. Other than that, really pleased with everything else, another delivery arrived this pm Smile

I'm a steady 14 in shops like H&M, L in Zara. But in Uniqlo I take a S in dresses and T shirts, but for bottoms, depending on the fabric it could be S M or L!

Returns are straightforward though (Hermes for me) so no difficulty in ordering multiple sizes to try.

I'm a size 14 and take an XL in their jeggings.
XXL for a boyfriend for top or an XL for a size 14 top - that's my experience anyway and I buy quite a lot from there.

I find their outdoor stuff comes up bigger (eg coats) and I sometimes need to size down. If you go to a shop, they will pin and shorten trousers for you for free.

I'm a 16/18 and I wear XL in Uniqlo. I would guesstimate that a 14 would be a L, based on that. But I do think it varies from garment to garment. I've never bought anything like a dress from there, just basics.
