So, ive recently got a few bits from Glossier and really liking it so far, so thought it might be good to have a thread where people can share their likes, dislikes and recommendations.

So far i have:

Futuredew - love it so far. I cant see me using it makeup free as it's a bit too much, but beautiful under a light foundation / bb cream. Ive also used it before bed and my skin feels amazing the next day.

Cloudpaint - so this is what drew me to Glossier and i haven't been disappointed. I ordered in beam and it's very pretty, but just not quite the right colour for my pale skin, but it will be fab to mix with others. I love the texture, it seems very buildable and a little goes a long way. Have a found my HG blush? Once i have the right shade, yes possibly.

Holographic lipgloss - i should say that I wasn't planning to buy this, but it made sense to buy the set which includes a lipgloss, so i ended up with this one. I had low expectations tbh but i really love it. It catches the light beautifully when worn alone, but is also great over a blotted lipstick. So far, so good.

So far i would recommend all of the above. The price isn't cheap but not ridiculously expensive either. There's always a 10% off code which helps. (i posted my 10% off link in the promo codes board but worth asking friends or family if they have one, in case you would prefer to send a Glossier credit their way)

I've also now ordered the Perfecting Skin Tint and Stretch Concealer in G10 and i have high hopes for these. I know the PST gives very little coverage and that's fine with me. Hope i like it!

Sneakily i also added another cloudpaint to my order so I'm also waiting for Storm to arrive - I'm hoping this, possibly paired with beam on occasion, will be my dream blush.

Keen to know what you have liked / disliked - what lives up to the hype and what doesn't? Also any tips or hacks for application would be great. ❤️

The milky jelly cleanser hands down!
The cloud paint in puff has a special place in my makeup bag too.
I really wanted to love the stretch concealer but I felt so greasy with it on. Glossier customer service has always been fab though!

I love Future Dew - I'm not that bothered about it on its own as I get a similar effect just from skincare, but under foundation it does something magical!

I have the Cloud Paints in Dusk (nudey brown) and Haze (raspberry pink). They are awesome, I love them so much and they really fit with my new 'glowier' make up look. I wasn't sure about Dusk as I'm quite pale and cool, but it's actually still really nice, especially in the summer and when mixed with Haze looks gorgeous. I apply with a brush.

That's all I have from Glossier so it's 100% hit rate for me!

Joining!

I'm a relative newbie and only have the skin tint and concealer, which I love. Skin tint just covers unevenness and makes you look lovely and glowy.

The concealer is amazing because it's buildable - it even covered a honking great hormone lump on my chin (now scabby because I cannot leave it alone 🙄)

Next on my list is cloud paint and future glow.

Boy Brow is great!

Boy brow- it’s a very light coverage but grooms my brows just enough.

I've always looked at boy brow, but my eyebrows never recovered from the 90s so I need to basically paint them back on 😂

Oooh welcome.

Loving the chat. I love the sound of boybrow but my actual brows are too sparse to benefit from this.

Loving the tips for mixing cloudpaints. I think I'm going to enjoy this! So far I've mostly got makeup but the skincare does seem to get good reviews too...

So this morning I am sitting with my face prepped, waiting for my Glossier delivery. Anyone else? Can't wait to try the skin tint 😊

I've been ordering Glossier since they first came here nearly three years ago. I repeat buy the Skin Tint ( I have it in two shades) , the fabulous stretch concealer and the Boybrow. I really like to layer the Glossier You perfume with other scents ( it is fabulous with Jo Malone Red Roses). I'm less keen on it by itself. The Cloud Paints are very nice - I like Dusk in the summer and Storm in the winter. I've tried the Generation G lipsticks but never really liked them. The shimmery liquid eyeshadows I've found mixed. Faun is a lovely shimmery wearable taupe. Herb was problematic. It's a great shimmery green but the higher pigment makes it harder to blend evenly. I'm wearing Fururedew today. I've put my 10% off Glossier code on the promo board if anyone wants it. I'd get Glossier credit so would be very grateful. Any Glossier questions let me know.

I really want to try Cloud paint, is it easy to use? How do you apply?

I've received the skint tint, concealer and cloudpaint in Storm this morning. The skin tint is great - it's exactly what i was hoping for, giving a sheer colour and evening out my skin tone. I didn't really do much with the concealer yet but the consistency feels good. My skin looks nice and glowy so will see how long it lasts.

Storm is the bomb! It's a fabulous colour and has really exceeded my expectations. I love it.

Housewife thanks for the tips. I haven't tried any of the eye products yet. I really love kiko eyeshadow sticks so I'm not sure if any of the Glossier products will compare!

I use a brush mostly - squeeze a tiny (and you really only need a tiny bit and it does come out quite fast if you squeeze too hard!) bit onto a smallish face brush and then blend. You can also use your fingers and sometimes I do that as a final blend but I find that sometimes the pressure of fingers creates a bit of natural redness in your cheeks anyway, so it's hard to see where you have applied!

I have also started changing the placement of my blusher - so rather than applying straight to the apples of my cheeks and blending upwards, I start on my cheekbone and blend down so that it fades into the apple of my cheek - I find it just gives a bit more lift to my face? Saw that tip on YouTube recently and it can apply to any sort of blusher Smile

The Fawn liquid shimmery eyeshadow is nice (I can't remember the proper name) but I wouldn't rebuy. I find eyeshadow sticks are quicker and less messy to apply. I haven't tried the matte liquid eyeshadows.

Boy Brow but I have very full natural brows so this just shapes them a bit.

Also like Generation G - kind of a bitten effect and very matte.

I love the Cloud Paint too. I read a review which said Glossier is make up for people who can only finger paint. That is me Grin

Dd loves this stuff and so I’ve slowly been buying bits for myself as I replenish her kit.

She uses everyday the brow flick pen and the pen eyeliner. Cloud paint, halo scope highlighter and the mascara. She has several of the glosses and lip paints as well.
The perfume smells lovely on her but smells like old lady on me. It really does smell different on everyone.

We both use the milky jelly cleanser. I use the super bounce serum. I did really like the lid star liquid eyeshadows but they started irritating my eyes so dd has them now.

We went to the store in Covent Garden a few times and I find the little bubble zip lock bags they come in handy for travel.

Can I ask where are you buying Glossier from. Dd loves it but I am unconvinced by some of the website links she sends me

I like the boy brow too and balm.com is great, particularly the black currant colour, gives a nice bitten lip look.

I have the perfume and it’s a nice creamy scent but zero longevity in me so wouldn’t re buy.

Ok so far I've used my fingers for this but i will try a brush tomorrow, as there may be less chance of it sitting in my pores if you paint it on rather than almost press it on....

Thanks for the tip!

Hi Wizzler, as the others have said, you buy from Glossier directly. If you use one of the referral links that i and others have posted on the promo codes page, you will get 10% off and the poster will get a Glossier credit.

I've found that delivery is fairly quick - i ordered on Monday and my stuff was delivered this morning 🙂

Are you like a rep for Glossier, or is it literally just a referral link that anyone can get? Every time I have watched a YouTube video on Glossier they seem to have some sort of deal going on with the brand? Everyone seems to be in on something that I'm not! Grin

Also, I waited a long time for delivery, almost 2 weeks, which is what they said it would be on the website - I assumed this was because it was being shipped from the US?
