Hair products for 2a wave

I'm 40 and still haven't figured out what to use on my hair!!

I currently use tigi curls rock and a bit of kerastase serum which I scrunch into it when it's wet, which works ok for the first day, but once I've slept on it, it's a fluffy mess with no real wave

Anyone got any tried and tested products for barely waver hair?

I have discovered i have this type of curl having always blow dried my straight. I too am struggling to find anything that doesnt make my hair look wet look with crispy curls. Curl Girl towel has made a difference though

For shampoo and conditioner Precious Nature curly products (think Alpaparf is the brand), but still haven't tried or figured out serums/mousses or sprays that work yet

Hm, are you brushing your hair? For the most part i avoid the brush as it makes my hair fluffy. I'm older and have a lot of white, dry hair so this might be more specific to me but i find aveda dry hair remedy shampoo and conditioner about every 4 to 5 days (i use a comb in the shower with the conditioner and just do finger combing in between) plus a good long mask of PK elasticizer every 2nd or 3rd wash helps keep my hair from going fluffy. After i wash my hair i put a hair oil on and define the curls and let it dry naturally. My hair doesn't look great when it's drying but the next day onward it looks it's best.
