Looking to invest in a few products, particularly anything pore shrinking, blackhead / milia zapping and decent glowy primers.

Have a look at Erborian. Their BB cream is amazing. Sheer yet gives coverage whilst looking completely natural. It's like witchcraft.

Tony Moly The Chok Chok Watery Green Tea Essence. Delightful and smells yum.
Tony Moly everything tbh - I love all the silly stuff like Pikachu eyeshadow!
Holika Holika BB Creams
Jeju Volcanic Pore Clay Mask
The Face Shop Rice Water Bright toner and face wash - very soothing

I was going to say Hada Lobo hyaluronic but since it's Japanese is it allowed in a Korean thread? Or is this about style?
I've got some Biore sunscreen but not a face one. Judging by the kudos it gets on here, I ought to try the watery essence.

My Korean body mitt arrived today. How do I use it - do I lather it with soap?

I like BB cushions, I use silkygirl (which is a malaysian brand) as it is cheap but the concept came from korea and every korean brand does them.

Second Hado labo hydrating lotion and biore sunscreen, both are japanese.

Missha bb creams and skin 79 bb creams are pretty good.

Cosrx blackhead clearing toner is great. Also Cosrx Whitehead Power toner (those names might be wrong but that's the jist of them!)

Missha BB Cream is just so glowy and wonderful. I haven't found a western BB cream that compares.

Pyunkang Yul Moisture Ampoule - it's a very thick, viscious gel-like texture. At night after you've done your routine and put on your night cream then apply this ampoule over the top to seal everything in. It traps all the moisture against your skin so it can't evaporate and when you wake up in the morning your skin has a real bounce to it.

I've found the best place to buy Asian beauty products is 'I Am Love Shop' on ebay. The products always arrive quickly and are reasonably priced.

@HermioneWeasley I believe you soak your body in the bath for 20 minutes, the bath mustn't have any soaps or oils in, just plain water, then roughly towel dry yourself and use the dry korean towel on your damp skin. That's what i read but my mitten hasn't arrived yet so i haven't tried it.

Hada Labo Whitenening range from YesStyle - blue packaging) contains tranaxemic acid and alpha Arbutin and lots of their fabulous hyaluronic acids. It is gentle and it takes a few months of dedicated use, but it has genuinely removed decades of red sun damage on my decolleté and around my nose from living in Australia. (I used to go running in low-cut tops in the sun - freak!) My skin tone is more even now than it was in my 20’s. (I am sunscreen queen)

Make P:Rem Blue Ray spf 50++++ sunscreen - just amazing. Worn under makeup or alone. It somehow also helps keep your skin a little cooler.

Cosrx pH balancing cleanser - very gentle foam cleanser that is great for oily and sensitive skin. With a hot flannel has greatly improved my skin.

Jeju clay mask from Innisfree

Cleanit Zero Banila cleanser / a melting cleansing balm that is so gentle and removes makeup brilliantly.

Korean foot peels are superior. Don’t know why.

Dr Jart is an all round fantastic brand, their vitamin c brightening masks and hyaluronic acid masks are great and make a visible difference right away.

My current moisturizer is the Dr Jart ceramidin Face cream. Thick but absorbs well and leaves skin feeling so protected and soothed and soft.

Koreans tend to have oilier skin and the climate gets very humid in summer so if you are someone who gets very greasy or shiny, many korean products are formulated towards dealing with these characteristics.

Sulwhasoo cushion bb cream in the cushion compact is one of the prettiest, glowiest medium coverage bases I’ve ever used. Limited range of shades but not chalky and very pretty luminous finish.

I hate Biore watery essence, it's so alcoholy and drying, I have tried it a few times, determined to like it but I just can't.

I have ordered some of those green exfoliating cloths so am excited to try those when they arrive!

@HermioneWeasley - Japanese and Korean people find the idea of soaking dirty bodies in a bath repellant. They shower and wash thoroughly first, then soak. I have started doing this and now the idea of ever soaking in dirty water freaks me out too. (Also cleaning the bath is a doddle!)

Thanks for the recommendation of the Missha BB cream. I ordered some and arrived today. It's gorgeous! Can't believe how lovely the texture is.
