Should i grow out my hair colour?

What are peoples thoughts on going back to natural colour? Im naturally mid brown usually have full head of blonde highlights. I have like most people horrendous roots since lockdown, not been brave enough to colour myself. My hairdresser is reopening & i can get in at the end of the month, im now wondering if i should grow my colour out? 🤔
Anyone else doing this?

Thinking of it!
I'm going to ask my hairdresser about softening the grey with a few highlights but no longer covering the grey with a brown dye. At the moment I have some highlights and regrowth is covered up. But I'm actually quite liking the silvery grey.

I am going to grow mine out, I had them last done in January, was do to go the week they closed, I can put a few in myself along the parting and the fringe which I have done last month, but now I am going to try and grow them out, it's just that its been 40 years of highlights whether I can bare the mousey brown colour we will see.

I have like most people horrendous roots since lockdown,

Whenever I go out, I feel like I’m the only one with atrocious roots/colour! Everyone else’s hair looks perfect?? Blush

Maybe ask your hairdresser for a balayage instead of highlights at your appointment

I would just go with what you prefer and want your hair to look like - don’t feel like you have to change if you don’t want to

With JolyGiraffe12 if you can, have your hair the way that makes you the most confident and happy. Although if it makes you feel better, am too poor now for my blonde, and having to rock a very odd 90s brunette/blonde do atm! Doing YouTube video tutorials as I type!
