Another “find me a dress” Thread I’m afraid

I fancy buying myself a treat and I can justify a nice comfortable and cool summer dress as I’ll be WFH for the forceable future. I just can’t seem to find a dress that makes me excited. Can you help me? Budget up to £75

Here are some details about me and what I like:
I am 5 foot 6 and a size 10 in shops like whistles or Hush. I have small boobs, a bit of a mum tum and not great knees. But I do have a slim face, neck and collar bones. I gravitate towards oversized things that I can get way with because of my seemingly slimmer upper top half (but somehow I’m not a pear).
I have recently developed a love of bold and bright (cool toned) colours but I usually don’t like twee or floral. I do like animal print.
A recent successful purchase for me is the Hush Penelope dress in pink but I don’t want to just buy it again in kaki.
I’d like a dress that I can wear on work zoom calls but then also stroll around town after. I don’t have to look office smart but I think sleeveless/strappy or low cut is out.

I dress to stand out more than fit in and I love trainers or sliders with dresses.

I keep re-reading my post and can’t find a better way to describe my ‘style’ but I fully acknowledge I sound like a pretentious idiot. If you can get over this fact please can you suggest a dress for me? It would be great if it was something that could transition to autumn with a leather jacket.

Thank you!

I don't normally like Boden but have my eye on this. Think my boobs may be too big though

After reading your op, I immediately thought of Joe Browms.

Wow, that Boden one is amazing, and ideal for smaller boobs.

OP have you looked at Cos?

I’m a similar shape and size to you and also don’t do twee or floral.

Have just bought a gorgeous loose-fit dress from Cos with a very bold bright print, it’s sold out now but they have lots of lovely (to my eye!!) loose-fitting minimalist shapes, some in dark colours yes but others brighter and bolder. Ideal for wearing with trainers.

The styling can look a bit eye-poppingly odd compared with Hush’s amazing and appealing styling and there are some VERY Swedish-architect type dresses that are a bit OTT out there for me (I’m sure if you want to look like, or indeed if you ARE a Swedish architect they’re just the thing!) but they have loads of lovely bold-cut loose dresses in nice fabrics, bold colour rather than pretty pastels, strong prints rather than ditsy.

Works for me; I’m athletic build and look absurd in ‘pretty’ summer frocks sadly.

I love ‘window shopping’ for other people. Gives me an excuse to look at the various shops!

Just rereading OP, that's not bold and bright. I'm sure I saw an amazing blue dress somewhere recently. Let me think

Go check out Karen Millen website for some really great bold colours at the moment. Anything there you like?

So many replies thank you! I’m afraid I can’t respond to everyone. I tend to avoid dresses that have a waste inline as I need to try on due to my mum tum.
I do like Cos and the “Swedish architect” is quite close to my office work look. But I tend to look for something brighter for other days and can’t see anything quite right on Cos. I saw this dress but I can’t wrap my head round it being polyester... will I swelter? www.neverfullydressed.co.uk/collections/dresses/products/rainbow-print-maxi-shirt-dress
But this is the kind of think I’m drawn to

Ok with your style in mind maybe check out this boutique although price range maybe higher (but sale on at the moment so take off the discount). Some good colours and similar shapes.
