I use Biore UV Aqua Rich, order it off amazon and it's about £16 for 2 packs. I burn very easily and this stops or got me. It's SPF50

I use Ultrasun, not cheap but you can get good deals on QVC. I really like it and use the factor 50 everyday, either bare faced or under my makeup. I also like Frezyderm Velvet sunscreen, that is fab under makeup as I have super oily skin and it is very matte and not greasy at all.

I keep hearing so many good things about the Biore one mentioned above, I might try that next.

Another vote for Ultrasun SPF 50. You do need to follow instructions and not put too much on, or you end up with a white cast / pilling. Lots of different options, tints, 30 or 50 spf etc. If you buy from QVC (lots of other places sell it, too), you get 60 days to wear it. If you don't like it, send it back for a refund.

Another vote for biore. It's brilliant and light enough to wear under make-up

Biore Watery Essence is amazing stuff.

I love this. It's light and not at all cloying. I'll miss it if the Body Shop has gone bust.

BarbTheBuilder, I find it so good I can put it on over any makeup and it sinks in without touching the make up. No whiteness or residue

Just looked up biotechs watery essence as looking for a daily sunscreen as well. Do you put it on before or after your normal moisturiser?

Sorry, biore!

Think you’re supposed to put it on first. I’ve given up on make up so only use this.

Beware of fakes on amazon.

There was a thread here last week which recommended a website to buy it on but I can’t remember the website.

I agree but I've bought it off the same site on Amazon, delivered from Japan, for 3 years and my face doesn't burn or get lumpy and I burn very easily and get nasty lumpy spots with other facial sunscreens

My last one was from amazon and I think it’s fine but that thread last week worried me where someone had got a fake.

I love Biore watery essence but I am worried about ending up with a fake, so this time I bought La Roche Posay Anthelios super-light. I don't think it's as great as the Biore one, but its not bad.

my dermatologist recommended neutrogena dry touch 80+, maybe a bit overboard but I like it so far, and quite cheap too. I has a drop of liquid bronzer from drunk elephant to battle the white

I used to use the Body Shop one linked to, but wont buy from them now after their treatment of J K Rowling. This time I tried Biore Watery Essence and I love it. Am also a bit concerned about fakes, so if anyone has a reasonable priced legit site to buy from, that'd be great. Also really like the La Roche Posay one, Ultrasun gives me spots (and I never normally get spots).

If you know anyone with a Telegraph subscription, they did a round of favourite sun screens yesterday I think. It's on the website. Some alternatives to the Biore, which I also swear by.

With the Biore - how do you know if what you're ordering is fake or genuine? I'd like to try it.
