Perfume

It's my birthday coming up and DD (age 4) has decided she wants to make me some perfume for my present.

Great, super, I'm here for it BUT I have no idea what to get for her to be able to do so.

I've seen Etsy kits where they send 4 different fragrance oils and all the other gubbins to mix your own fragrance but what combination of flavours should I order for her?

I'm not really a perfume person but generally smell like coconut because of the products I use so something that goes with coconut would be ideal.

Any ideas you wonderful style and beauty gurus? Grin

Who knew there were fancy home kits?! At 4, I was all about a jar of mushed up rose petals in water and flogged to a kind neighbour for 10p. No helpful suggestions I'm afraid, but in case they do smell dreadful, a pretty bottle and a few flower heads could well be a better option!

If she's 4, is it not a bowl of water and then let her loose picking petals/flowers from the garden. Mix. Pour into bottle. Never use again?

That's how I made my mum perfume when I was 4 anyway!

That was initially the plan but she's been telling me how excited she is for me to wear it 🙄 I'd like a fighting chance of it not smelling like slightly manky garden clippings ConfusedGrin

If you like coconut then vanilla will go well with it. Depending on the kit you buy they might have some 'ocean' fragrance oils that would also match. Hope it smells nice Smile

Ylang-ylang and rum would also go with coconut I think!
