Chanel bronzer

I've just purchased my first Chanel bronzer and I'm not disappointed!
I have been keeping my face out of the sun as I have been using acids etc so was looking for something to give be a bit of a glow and match the rest of the tan I have managed since lockdown, but I didn't want to fake tan or use a sparkly bronzing powder.
This is a keeper. If interested Lisa Eldridge has a good you tube video on it.

Is it the revamped Healthy Glow bronzer in the pot? It’s incredible!

Yes, I believe so, Chanel has added coconut oil, it smells lovely and the texture blends easily.

I have oily skin will work for me, or will I be a oily mess?

I want to try this but was worried that coconut oil would be comodogenic?

I had the old version and tried to use it but gave it away. Far too orange for me. If they bring out a more red toned variant, I may be tempted as I liked the creaminess of it.

My daughter raves about it but doesn’t last on me in the slightest, I prefer Bobbi brown powder bronzer

This is the blurb on it - A lightweight cream-gel face bronzer with a velvet-matte finish that enhances skin with a sun-kissed glow. Mineral waxes and powders ensure effortless application. The non-comedogenic formula helps avoid clogged pores and breakouts.

Looking at various beauty bloggers review it seems the new colour is slightly paler.

I have dark hair with skin which tans easily and think the both the colour of bronzer and application is very natural looking.

Maybe not for everyone, I guess make up is subjective. Thought I'd post as I was impressed by it.

Lisa Potter-Dixon did a good Insta live on it.

@lindyloo57 I find it very dry and have to put a lot of moisturiser on underneath to get it to spread so I think it would be good on oily skin.

@JaneJeffer... do you have the new version? It has coconut oil in for more “slip”.

No it's not on the ingredients list. I got it in February.

I bought this a month ago but haven't used it yet. Any recommendations for brushes to use with it? The Chanel kabuki brush is £40. Is it worth the money? Or are there cheaper good quality alternatives?

Edina, I just use a big ole fluffy Real Techniques brush from Boots.

I imagine the Chanel brush is fabulous, darling, however it should be at that price!

I'd rather spend that on a bottle of Bolly, sweetie!

I use a Real Techniques brush too. It's the 200 brush.

I've just ordered from john lewis, 10% off at the moment.

Ah brilliant. Thank you. Brushes are something of a mystery to me. I either use whatever comes with the makeup or I have a Mac mini makeup brush kit that a friend bought for me around 10 years ago! The largest brush I have is a blusher brush but I’m assuming that these bronzer/kabuki brushes are much larger?

It's not huge. I use it in circular motions to blend the bronzer out evenly. Real Techniques brushes are good because they're colour coded according to what they're for, gold for base, etc.

I have this brush. I reach for this for bronzer over my Bobbi Brown brush and a Real Techniques standard size brush.

I use the Primark ( Penneys in Ireland ) huge big bronzer brush with my Chanel bronzer.
I thought the old formulation looked better on Sali.
