Only one pair came near to comfy. They were cheapo ones from Brantano.

Every other pair I've tried have ripped the skin off my heels.

NorthernRockCod Sun 23-Sep-07 14:29:35

they do hurt dont they
am htinking leather lined £££ ones may do the trick

theres an odd llokign brown seude pari in next wiht a strap that look ok

themoon66 Sun 23-Sep-07 14:30:59

ones with strap are better coz they stop the heels rubbing up and down.

NorthernRockCod Sun 23-Sep-07 14:31:46

lord these are odd

NorthernRockCod Sun 23-Sep-07 14:32:06

I had some from La Redoute that were elasticated, like this pair (but in olive green) - v comfortable. Even though I don't have scrawny feet, I do suffer from shoes rubbing the backs of my heels.

The first ones are ok, but look a little bit odd due to presence of almost-wedge. Like the double strap thing though.

themoon66 Sun 23-Sep-07 14:34:44

Second ones are nice.

NorthernRockCod Sun 23-Sep-07 14:34:48

am htinking the almpst wedge may be better

god hey are odd hto
odnt hink i liek the strap

themoon66 Sun 23-Sep-07 14:35:29

Have tried the elasticated type, but they were agony on the heels again.

NorthernRockCod Sun 23-Sep-07 14:35:43

they are often too wide for me

themoon66 Sun 23-Sep-07 14:36:17

No no... the second pair are lovely.

themoon66 Sun 23-Sep-07 14:36:46

Yes, i find they are mostly too wide... like a pair of barges on my feet. But then I'm VERY thin of foot.

You sounded like me telling the dc's not to give up and find out how to do it, so felt the need to respond.
