I blow dry and straighten before bed and it stays like it until I next wash it. Wish I could leave it naturally but it would look an awful mess, depends on your hair type.

Leaving it to try natural will be better for your hair but depends how it behaves.
If I go to bed with wet hair I would need to tie it back the next day

If you wash at night it's far better to blowdry it before bed, if you leave it wet the cuticle will roughen when it rubs on the pillow and make it damaged and frizzy.

I do both - air dry for curly and blow dry for straighter hair but if I air dry it has to be dry before bed or I'd wake up looking like a haystack. It'd also still be damp at the back!

If I wash it at night I have to dry it; going to bed with wet hair will leave me with an explosion of half curly frizz. Although when it was long enough, I could wash at night, use a bit of gel and put it in a bun and the next day it would be OK. What's your hair like?

Going to bed with wet hair = frizz for me.

Depends on your hair type surely?

I can plait it when wet and it dries quite nicely but the top will still be frizz without a blow dry.

leave to dry naturally. My hair is so fine it's totally dry in about 20 minutes. I don't even own a hairdryer.

Usually I would blow dry as it takes too long to air dry. Since we’ve been in lockdown I’ve just been letting it air dry and wear in plaits /braids usually to keep it under control.
