Ok ladies find me a wedding dress...

My boyfriend proposed last week and given that we can't plan anything due to lockdown I'm passing the time by window shopping dresses.

The brief:
I'm 45, 5ft0, currently a size 14, hourglass shape, aiming to drop down to at least a 12 by the big day. Brown hair, green eyes. Style definitely quirky rather than traditional.

It's my third (Blush) marriage so I definitely don't want a big white wedding dress. Favourite colour is Cadbury purple but love all bright colours, dislike pastels as they don't suit me at all.

Budget up to £500

I'm vegan so no silk or wool please.

Thank you in advance.

ASOS. Out of stock at the moment and no idea what it's made of, but it's quirky.

Congratulations!

I love love love that hot pink dress linked by Thinkle. Thank God they haven't got it in my size.

The pale blue one you were considering OP is heavenly as well.

The pale blue one very pretty, but I love the purple maxi dress! It's unusual and stunning. I think it could be very weddingy with the right hairstyle and jewellery.
I almost wish I was getting married so I could buy it!

I much prefer the first dress you like. I think the second one is kind of for old people

Yes. I think the second one may be aging. The first one is gorgeous.

I just came across this stunning wine red dress on Wolf & Badger, and thought of your thread. It would look amazing as a non-trad wedding dress.
