I didn't see your other post but this dress looks very nice.

Look good on you, would like to see what's going on at the side though, is it knotted?

It's nice but you have a great figure and I don't think this dress highlights that.

It's a lovely dress, nice colour. I didn't see your other thread.

I like it & it suits you but as pp said you have a good figure don't hide it.
You could wear shorter items I think!

Knot in the wrong place, would be better if the knot was higher up

Report
AriettyHomily · 03/06/2020 14:39

I think the knot needs to be higher, above your hip.

You have a great figure. Don't like the dress.

I don’t think the tight sleeves and side knot due justice to your great figure. It may look better with heels, but don’t think it works with flats.

I think it’s a bit on the frumpy side OP. You have a nice figure so don’t need to cover it all up.

Hmm..can anyone recommend me some nice dresses then please?

I agree with pps that the dress doesn't do you any favours. IMO needs to be a lower neckline and/or higher hemline and more fitted at waist.

It's ok. A bit 'meh' though, you could do better.

DavetheCat2001 · 03/06/2020 16:20

...so any suggestions?

What kind of dress are you after? Casual, going out?

Report
DavetheCat2001 · 03/06/2020 16:29

Casual, day dresses to wear to work/weekends.

I tend towards a more alternative style, not into frills and not particularly girly. Have bright coloured hair/nose ring etc

I wear converse a lot (I know..a bit sin to some!)

I'll try the orange dress again with the bow bit tied better. I just chucked it on quickly this morning.

..also not fond of showing too much flesh.

I think the length isn't the best on you, you have a lovely shape and it cuts your legs wrong

Report
Deadringer · 03/06/2020 16:46

I think it's lovely on you, you have a fab figure.

peachypetite · 03/06/2020 17:09

I think a knee length wrap dress would be much more flattering without being revealing

Report
Bluntness100 · 03/06/2020 17:14

I think it’s ok, a bit “Boden mum” which you sound like you’re not.

Report
DavetheCat2001 · 03/06/2020 17:15

It is Boden..don't know what I am really! I clearly have lost my sense of what looks good on me.

It is Boden

I won’t lie. Bit surprised I was right 🤣

The thing is, that length is fashionable at the moment. So while it’s not very flattering, it doesn’t matter as much if loads of people are doing it?
So I wouldn’t worry too much about that.
